This place is the real deal. The food tastes like true, home-style Mexican cooking, not the fake stuff. The tortillas are fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly, and the salsa has amazing flavor with just the right kick.
The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the plates come out hot and fast. You can tell they care about the food and the people they serve.
If you want real Mexican food, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back and bringing friends!

we went here tonight to eat and the food and everything was on que…we had a very sweet and awesome young lady waiting on our table she was real sweet and a excellent waiter we had refills and everything without a wait or nothing everything was so perfect no complaints whatsoever

Great food served by a beautifully energetic waitress in an authentic Mexican atmosphere. Perfect for a Taco Tuesday! The grilled Tilapia on a nice bed of shredded lettuce is fantastic and the flour tortillas are fresh and steamy. The choriqueso is a magnificent blend of cheese and spicy pork and it all made for a great lunch/dinner.

I’m not sure what happened but this place is now awful. I ordered a house margarita on the rocks, the server first off had no idea what I was talking about, she said “you want it made like with liquor? Oh you mean top shelf” no…idk if she even understood what I was ordering but it seems like she was also the one who made it. This drink was so beyond sour with no tequila…I told her I can’t drink this, it was too sour, my face should have said it all. I asked for just a beer instead and she said we don’t have beer…I had to point to the menu to show her they do. I asked her to take the margarita away. She proceeded to tell me since I touched it I still have to pay for it. As this was going on Police entered…they called the police on someone who Paid for a Togo order, called to tell them their food was wrong, asked for it to be fixed, they came up to get the correct food. They called the cops because that person didn’t pay for the new food they just made to fix their error. They said she picked it up and left without paying. The cops were even like she paid for the first order right? They said yes. The cops were like we should really contact the owners and they kept refusing. Did they hide the owners in the freezer and run the place into the ground or what?

Big fan of La Carreta Grill. They have amazing Mexican food and it’s always served fresh with a smile. All the servers have always been so nice to the kids and very attentive. I love the Tacos Al Carbon, Fajita Nachoes, and the Regular Fajitas.

Imagine a large baked potato with their queso cheese, just 1 or multiple meats (chicken, chorizo sausage, steak, etc) and peppers! I stumbled up on it and now …. Just thank me later- you can even get it to go!

The food we ordered had items on it that were not listed on the menu. There is no choice of meats but they give you ground beef instead of asking preference. No manager on duty and no offer to repair. Waitress came to table to bring food and spent the majority of her time huddled up with other servers chit chatting by the door. Employee on duty were blunt and rude. Not the “best of the best” at all. Don’t waste &30 for a lunch meal that you can’t eat.
