Tucked away in a humble strip mall, this spot is so much more than it appears from the outside. With a vibrant fusion of Mexican cuisine and Honduran flair, it’s easily one of the most delightful discoveries I’ve stumbled upon in a long time.
The ceviche is nothing short of heavenly—bright, fresh, and absolutely addictive. We started here and immediately knew we were in for something special. And it just kept getting better.
The fried pork chop is a must-order: perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The kind of dish that makes you rethink everything you thought you knew about pork chops. Portions across the board are generous—clearly designed with leftovers in mind (and believe me, you’ll be glad you have them).
Then there’s the drink menu—wow. It’s massive, creative, and borderline dangerous in the best possible way. The Trashcan Margarita? Way better than it has any right to be. Honestly, every drink we tried was a solid 10/10.
Even the little things stood out, like the fried corn tortillas served with one of our dishes—fresh, hot, and so legit. And the service? Warm, friendly, and just as authentic as the food.
If you’re looking for a polished chain vibe, look elsewhere. If you want real flavor, laid-back hospitality, and a dining experience that feels like a well-kept secret—this is your place. Come early, stay late, and eat/drink your way through the menu. You won’t regret it.
Absolutely worth the visit—and the leftovers.
I’ve mostly ordered takeout from this spot, always going for the carne asada tacos — and honestly, they’re the best I’ve had from any Mexican restaurant. I load them up with everything they offer: grilled onions, jalapeño juice, lime juice, guacamole, and both the red and green sauces. Not sure what kind of sauces they are exactly, but they’re a little spicy and pair perfectly with the tacos. The base is already solid with flavorful carne asada, diced onions, and fresh cilantro. As a serious taco lover, I’m hooked.
I finally dined in for the first time on Cinco de Mayo to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the experience was top-notch. The $5 margaritas were strong and delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Shoutout to the male bartender/server — great drinks and easy on the eyes! This is hands down my favorite taco spot in the 757. Truly authentic Mexican food done right.
We live so close to this place, I’m upset at myself for not stopping by sooner. My husband and I wanted Mexican food. So I ordered online pickup. My husband got the Carne Asada Torta, and chips and salsa. I got the Birria Burrito, and asked for the cheese sauce on the side. My burrito was so good! I hadn’t eaten all day, so I was hungry, and it hit the spot. I couldn’t finish it, it was too much. My husband said his torta was really good also. We will definitely be returning to try more things on the menu. I definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
Great food. Very big portions.
Higly recommend
Initially, I believe the situation was handled by the server with good demeanor, yet poor business relations. We were still going to be charged for the non-refillable drinks and plantains we did not finish. However, we did stay and consulted amongst ourselves, and when I went to pay the bill, the server informed us that we did not have to pay. I believe that this was the most fair outcome. I appreciate the change of heart and good business relations. Needless to say, I was very hungry when I got home.
The staff was very friendly and I was seated right away. The prices we fair and the food!!!!!
Coming from San Antonio we struggled to find good Mexican food. Now it’s right across the street and I plan on being here a lot more. Definitely come check this place out.
I think they need to offer refillable drinks but I’m only being picky now.
