My Mom and I went through the drive thru today on our way back home from New Orleans. The service was horrible, got to the window to pay and was met with the guy opening the window and never speaking just staring at me. I handed him my card and he handed it back, gave me the drinks, the straws and then our food. I had my mom check before we pulled off and we were missing fries so I pulled around and went back in and got the fries. Got back in the car getting situated with my food to start driving again and when we opened the sandwiches no lettuce, tomato or mayo like I asked. Just the banana peppers on one and Jalapeños on the other that I requested extra. I got back out and went back in to at least get mayo and was met with the same attitude that I had at the drive thru window. $63.00 for 3 sandwiches that were not good at all. We have stopped here numerous times on our monthly trips to New Orleans but today was it for me. (Pics were after we put our own mayo on them )

Food is typically pretty good. I hate the other fast food places, and this is a good compromise between sit down quality, and drive through burger crap. Don’t be in a hurry though. Service is average, not bad, not great…..
Food is made to order, with only 3 people working the lobby, and the drive thru, it usually takes between 5-10 minutes to get your grub. Its my “go to spot” in the Jackson area on trips between New Orleans and St Louis.

Dining in was a very bad decision. I guess the manager? Does not stop screaming at his co workers, it is clear they are new but the entire time he’s running a steak escape like it’s some fine dining restaurant. It’s really not that serious. Entire time I’m trying to eat the guy is just screaming at his co workers about stuff they aren’t doing or not doing right. Food was good, but good lord the guy running the show needs to just chill out a little.

The employees at this location do NOT provide good customer service!!! I ordered a Cajun bowl online today and that process was ok. When I went to the Gluckstadt location the you man didn’t acknowledge that I was there. I stood and waited, there weren’t any other customers. Before he approached me he went to check his cell phone then walked over and just stared at me. I guess that was my signal to tell him why I was there. I gave him my name, he produced my order and sat it on the counter then walked away. I said you’re welcome. He said what??? I responded you’re welcome again. He turned his back to me. Today is my last visit!!!

I went here today and I had a horrible experience. The fries was half done. I order a grand escape and original Philly. The bellpeppers and the onions on the sandwich was practically raw. I don’t even know what they had going on. This place charge too much money for this nonsense its serving. I love Steak Escape but I will not be returning to this one. Horrible Service. Spent almost 25 for something we could eat.

My Korean BBQ steak bowl was customized by me to have extra veggies. Veggies were overcooked. Other than that, was very quick, convenient and a good value. Next time I will try their steak sandwich.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. The worst place to eat. They didn’t use gloves while making our food tonight. We have video proof and would be happy to provide to owners. We ordered a sandwich so the no onions add lettuce and this is what we got- full of onions, no lettuce, and not even cooked. We’ve tried this place by ordering online 3 times, and every time the food wasn’t ready and had to wait 30 mins. Spare yourselves. Don’t go here.

Locations are typically found in food courts in shopping malls as well as airports, all serving a variety of menu items, including cheesesteaks. The company is known as the originator of the mall cheesesteak concept. And hibachi style cooking fresh made to order right before your eyes. The chain is owned by Columbus, Ohio- based Escape Enterprises.
I went to Columbus Ohio for 2 weeks to train. Got serve-safe certified and started my journey.
