Upon arrival at 6:30 pm on a Monday night, I got worried that we might have to wait awhile for a table because the parking lot was full! I was surprised to see multiple clean tables available for us! The food was well stocked and delicious The staff were busy, friendly and polite! We had our used plates cleared quickly. The staff also inquired about our dining experience! We informed her that everything was wonderful! We sat near the Kids FunZone and could tell that they were having fun! We are reward members and used the reward for a discount on our meals. We feel we got a lot of delicious food and great service for the small price we paid! This was the best dining experience we have had at Pizza Ranch!

Fantastic experience! We were greeted right away by River, who was super friendly and welcoming. The manager also checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was great—really appreciated the attention. The FunZone was busy but not overwhelming, with tons for the kids to do. The buffet was a hit too—especially with very reasonable pricing for kids under 10. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking to burn off some energy and load up on some carbs!

My Dad and I came for lunch today and it was amazing!! The service was phenomenal!! The lady we had at the cash register was super friendly and helpful!! The pizza was absolutely AMAZING!!!! The best pizza I have ever had!! So tasty, fresh and delicious!!! The perfect amount of toppings, sauce and cheese!! I will definitely be back!!

Detroit Lakes Pizza Ranch is terrific! The chicken is the best ever with a thin crispy coating. Our favorite pizza…..thin pepperoni was hot and delicious. Along with the salad bar, sides, and hazelnut coffee…..what an excellent meal for a reasonable cost.

Third time this year visiting and each time they are very limited in selection and quantity of food..chicken, pizzas, and salad bar. This seems to be isolated to DL location cause over the years of visiting Perham pizza for several years we’ve always had a very positive experience…every time in all aspects.
DL location is clean, staff is friendly, food is tasty, but they just for some reason are unable to keep food available.
Side note…consider adding topping options or at least a second ice cream flavor as an option.

It’s Pizza Ranch… The broasted chicken and pizza are great. Service was excellent and the place is really clean. When we came in we were asked for any special requests for the pizza bar, which I thought was nice. The game room is super for kids and adults… also clean and appealing.

“SLIMY SALAD”
I drove for an hour to take my family out for super. The kids like pizza, but I have a dairy allergy, and I also should stay away from fried foods because of my heart. This was a nice place where I could get a salad and they could have their pizza. I drove an hour each way, paid for the meals, and still had to drive all the way back home and make a sandwich for myself because the salad bar was full of SLIMY salad. And they wouldn’t change it. I spoke with 3 people. Oh, they will fix it, they said. I waited and waited. My whole family was done and ready to leave, but no freash salad….
I will never eat there or anywhere in Detroit Lakes again. I drove 2 hours and it cost me way over $100 not to get supper.
This place also took all summer to fix their ice cream machine… another rip off from the other times we visited. This was the last straw. This place is going downhill fast. Save your money. Eat somewhere else.

My family of five came here for our first time at this location on a slow Thursday night. They couldn’t keep up on both the pizza bar and salad bar. I don’t know if the problem is because this is a much smaller restaurant than the others I’ve been to, if it’s an issue being a new restaurant with new employees, either way, there’s no good reason to have a mostly empty salad bar the whole time we were there, and very few pizzas available in the pizza bar. Also, in this location they don’t have any pasta either. Even my kids were disappointed.
