ordered food at 7:20- got it an hour later at 8:15. just three items too.
fries were wet and soggy,
chicken sandwich had just the chicken patty nothing else, no pickles no lettuce no tomato.

I wasn’t going to post this, but as the recipient of the food that Gina waited 45min for, I could not believe the owner, instead of apologizing he made the excuse that another customer was rude and the cause of the delay. I wonder what the “cause” of the undercooked French fries and raw hamburger was. And before you say you’ve been closed for hours, I was at mini-Fenway watching a Little League game, excited for something to eat after a long day. After your response I decided to go home to get a good picture of your undercooked overpriced food for you. I guess some lessons are worth paying for. Won’t even return for ice cream.

I rarely write reviews and am very easy going and understanding of service issues but my partner and I waited close to 10 minutes at the ice cream counter without anyone acknowledging us. The place was not very busy. I am fine waiting but standing there for so long while getting occasional glances from the service staff was rude. I have seen other reviews echoing this experience. I am hoping this can be shared with the staff because a simple “we will be right with you” is all they need to do to elevate this to a decent experience.

Great food and a wonderful place to take your family. They have a crazy amount of different flavor ice creams and you can build your our blizzards. My husband had the fish tacos.. Amazing and I had the Thanksgiving sandwich so yummy. Definitely a place to go back!

I’m pretty fed up with this place and most likely won’t be ordering here again. Had absolutely love this place and recommended it and would get it pretty frequently for the last couple years, but then I started ordering on DoorDash or placing my order ahead and every single time it was messed up (gave other chances as food was good) (when made correctly afterwards) and usually something missing HOWEVER Our DoorDash order arrived and mine wasn’t made correctly even though I was told it was two items were missing another item barely had anything on it so it’s just absolutely ridiculous. seven dollars almost for a milkshake and you forget to give it to the DoorDash people but want me to drive back without offering a refund I find that rude. And then I ordered a turkey and cheddar bacon wrap. Barely got any bacon. There was a small amount of turkey and I don’t even know if there was cheese on it took a picture and I didn’t taste or see any. I also didn’t ask for mayonnaise and mayonnaise wasn’t specified on the order or the description so that was kind of upsetting. Also, the reason why I pay extra for DoorDash so I don’t have to get my baby ready and out the door and drive 20 to 25 minutes out of my way so having to do that and get my poor baby in the car at 7 PM and drive also frustrates me. DoorDash wouldn’t offer a refund or even a partial refund because it has to go through chubby so I feel like Chubbys should at least work something out with DoorDash and get us some money back as my poor grandmother who just got home from the hospital after an operation just wanted a nice meal at home but now is losing money for a crummy meal.
Update I went there in person today on the 30th around noon time to see if the owners replied back to my review would be honored about getting the free meal that I deserved and paid for the first time and haven’t made it correctly. I get there & the young girl had to call him on the phone and he then wanted to speak with me. I found him to be a little bit rude on the phone and kind of abrupt and I was super embarrassed because I feel like he was implying that I was doing this on purpose as he had to say it was the third time and this cannot be happening every time, but yet it does it happened when I went there months ago with another family member in person and not only was my meal made incorrectly in person twice hers was done three times sitting there eating in and then today another gentleman’s meal was to go and wasn’t even packed to go so you’re not going to sit here and tell me that they’re not making mistakes constantly. The owner then told me that he shouldn’t be remaking my meal due to the review I left, but yet had to be nice as pie and his reply back, and I was super embarrassed the whole time I was on the phone needless to say, I appreciate them remaking my meal today, but I will not go back after that experience. Then to also ask me to call them from now on when there’s an issue instead of leaving a review I thought it was a little bit bold. I was honestly going to delete this review after today and just drop it but I’m kind of mind blown about how this was handled today, when again when the owner seemed nice in his reply back, but it was a whole different situation over the phone. I will give them their comment back that maybe using DoorDash there’s errors but I use DoorDash frequently and twice did call them to confirm order after that’s what I was told to do. I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m not the only one leaving negative reviews recently so that goes to show. I’m hoping that things get straightened up as over all the food here is decent and it would be a shame to continue the way things were handled.

2 stars because the food tastes good but the service is horrible. There’s always some young workers who don’t seem to have any idea how to work in food service. I order a kids meal but never get the ice cream I ask for. For some reason they need to be reminded every time to give us the ice cream. I have to call several times because there’s either no answer, or someone pick up then hangs up the phone, or I’m left on hold for 10 minutes. Not impressed with the service and it’s not worth the hassle. they really need to hire some competent workers.

My family and I always enjoy our experience at Chubbys. They have outside seating, they have seating inside too. You can order inside or at their window. We are always happy with our food or ice cream. I have never been disappointed by an order from Chubbys. This is a great place to feed the whole family, there a little something for everyone!
