We have been to this place previously with different and better owners. We expected It to be the same but was sadly disappointed. I went with my family and was disgusted by our food. I ordered a spicy California roll and a Philly roll and had requested yum yum sauce which looked like Italian dressing. Just horrible looking. The fish tasted very odd and not good. My boyfriend ordered pho with odd grey colored meat. My dad ordered an entree and never received his meal. He had to remind them that he ordered a wonton soup and house salad for my mom. Which you would think that you would get those first before your entree? My mom was grossed out by the house salad said It tasted like a sour and tangy dressing almost as if It went bad. I would not recommend coming here think before you waste your money. There are so many other places to go!!!!!

We were at Staples and noticed this place and decided to give it a try. Glad we did! The owner was so pleasant in greeting us and taking our order. Bless him! We ordered beef lo mein – noodles were perfect. Portion of vegetables and meat good. Seasoned well. Jumbo wings reminds me of Korean fried bbq wings, so crispy!! We choose sweet and spicy dipping sauce…awesome choice! We bought a California roll for my son. He was pleased with the freshness! I forgot to snap pics but Boba teas!!! Mango and Thai! The owner was so courteous to myself and my daughter. We almost finished those while waiting on our food . Definitely returning!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Pho Tokyo. The food is not authentic and does not reflect Japanese or Vietnamese cuisine at all. The flavors, preparation, and overall presentation feel heavily Chinese-style or yucky American fast food-style, not Japanese or Vietnamese.
If you are looking for real Japanese or Vietnamese food or even authentic Japanese or Vietnamese flavors, this is not the place. The menu may suggest Japanese Vietnamese influence, but the taste and execution do not match what you would expect from genuine Japanese cooking.

I decided to try a new place for lunch and I am so grateful I did! I definitely recommend the Pho, the broth is delicious. I also recommend the Mango and Strawberry Boba Tea. The atmosphere is very calm and beautiful and the staff, including the owners are very kind and sweet! I will definitely come back 🙂

We aren’t from Deptford and our town doesn’t have a good Pho place so we tried this one out. I had the steak and flank pho and my wife had the chicken lo mein. Both meals were excellent. The staff was very welcoming and talking to us a bit and explained their pho broth takes 11 hours! They definitely know what they’re doing here and the quality shows. On top of the great experience they were priced very reasonably which will definitely keep me coming back. They said they are new owners as of December so if you had a bad experience here before definitely come try them out again under new ownership.

I am so glad I gave this spot a chance especially since I’m super picky when it comes to my pho! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the beef was melt in your mouth tender, like butter. The beef meatballs were delicious too, and the meat to noodle ratio was perfect definitely didn’t disappoint.
We also ordered the chicken Pad Thai, and it was just as impressive. Great flavor and a generous portion size. And omg if you love Vietnamese rolls, theirs are a must try! So fresh, flavorful, and packed with ingredients.
The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Food is amazing. Very fresh ingredients, not your typical chain food restaurant flavors. Everything I have had is delicious. The flat noodles dishes are so good, Def recommend and will be going back.

Haven’t tried much of the menu, I just love pho. This is THE BEST pho I’ve tried in New Jersey. The pho broth is so flavorful you don’t need hoisin sauce or sriracha. The owners are super nice. It’s family owned so it feels like I’m home when I’m there.

Went here because it’s fairly new and was pleasantly surprised by the food!! The food is all made with love and the quality is TOP TIER!!! We tried the pho, sushi, and the flat noodles and they were delicious! Definitely will be coming back again!
