The service, ambiance and on the house garlic bread were all equally on point. The food was delicious. Their tomato sauce was outrageously ridiculously delicious. Had the potato leek soup, octopus, calamari, broccoli rabe and shrimp dishes – all fresh and made to perfection. Oh, and did I mention their tomato sauce…uuuffff… ❣️

Have now eaten here twice in the past month. First time I had chicken scarpariello. It was good. My wife had a fish dish and it also was good. Everything is way overpriced, but that’s the case anywhere you go these days.
Second time was yesterday. My chicken francaise was rubbery. My wife’s ravioli was very good. Our daughter and BF had ceasar salads with grilled chicken. It was ok. the restaurant is on the dark side, but somewhat charming. I thought they served pizza but my error I guess. Wouldn’t rush back.

First time here and wow what a great time. The wine and drinks menu was good with reasonable prices and great option. We had an artichoke appetizer that was fantastic but the real winner was the eggplant parm- definitely top three and a real contender for best.

Beautiful decor and cozy atmosphere but the food was just not great and is on the expensive side for what it is. The French onion soup was terrible. The salads we’re underwhelming. The pasta was not al dente and the sauce could have been from a jar. All three of us were disappointed with the food.

A Quaint and Cozy Italian Restaurant with an scenic outdoor dining area. Among my favorite Italian Dining. A little on the pricier side but a pretty good kitchen. Wait Staff good and friendly. The Pork Chop with Vinegar Peppers was Amazing! Among the best Pork Chop I ever had. Even having it the next day, it remained tender. Definitely getting it again…Love those Garlic Bread!!

From the moment we walked in it was a great visit. The hostess was welcoming, the food delicious, the price just right for the quality of the food. As a pasta lover I had the sicilian ziti and would definitely recommend getting a side of sautéed cherry peppers, it made it all the more flavorful.

Another all-star review I’m reluctant to give. If your expectations are for a consistent and freshly prepared southern Italian meal, in a service-oriented, family operated restaurant, with wooden and stone decor, that always seems to smell of garlic and butter, then go to Peppino’s. I’ve been going now for over 15 years, and it’s still just as good with many of the same, familiar and friendly staff. Otherwise, please drive right by. Another great excuse to head to lovely Katonah.
