Excellent place. Food was awesome. We are from Chandler AZ USA. Great local place to eat off the tourist trap.
If you are in the area it’s a must!!!

Frozen/ defrosted seafood; 4 blocks from the ocean , kinda slow on the service department, but were friendly people. Fairly good a/c , could have been cooler since the humidity from the cyclone was pretty intense.

Lively restaurant with plenty of seating, although I’d recommend getting reservations if you’re coming with a group. Everyone enjoyed their meal and our server, Hector, was very helpful and spoke English. We didn’t get English menus, but you’d be familiar with the names of the dishes if you enjoy Mexican cuisine.

Greetings once again from the shrimp capital of the Pacific Ocean. El Torito is one of the city’s favorite restaurants, and it’s easy to see why. With a broad range of choices to choose from, including their signature seafood dishes along with the traditional Mexican cuisine, any choice is a winner.
On this visit, I chose the Arrachera carñe asada plate, and Pippa, my girlfriend, chose a fresh tuna ceviche with mango. Both were excellent because the seafood in this city is as fresh as any place on earth. The beef in Mexico is better than most countries because of the proximity to the ranches that supply the local businesses. Making the meat fresher and less processed. Resulting in better tasting and more tender dishes. If you don’t believe me, come on down and try it yourself, friends. I gotta get busy eating!

Presentation, service, and atmosphere was great. Open air, plenty of fans, large portions, fresh fish, and good spicy sauces on the side. They were on top of things and looked like lead server/management was detail oriented. I really enjoyed our experience here and would definitely go again. Pictured is the tuna ceviche and fried shrimp.

Horrible service! Took forever for a waiter to serve us. First wanted us to order food before the drinks. We finally got our drinks and we ordered appetizers and our food and the appetizer arrived at the same time. I ordered an oyster Rockefeller and the cheese was watery. Not broiled like it suppose to be. My lady ordered shrimp triologia and the shrimp was bland. We also ordered pescado zarandeado and fish was dry and bland. Food was also way overpriced! Nothing that made it stand out. Kids running around our table and one almost got hit by a car. The only good thing about this place, was that I ordered a whole fish and it had a good taste/seasoning. Besides that, it’s only reason I’m giving them a one star. Oh, did I mentioned, serviced sucked!?
If you want good mariscos, I highly recommend “restaurante panchos” it will not disappoint in food, taste, or service! Best place for mariscos hands down!

Very good flavor. The service is great, the guy had no problem explaining 6 different meals. The menu is vast, pretty much an option for everyone. It doesn’t have great views like the Malecon restaurants, but it is definitely worth it.

Great food and service. The fact that they have AC and fans on makes a difference to enjoy your food.
