The price information of $1-$10 is outdated. I don’t think you can get a decent, local restaurant meal anywhere for less than $10 now. However, this is still a very affordable local restaurant. There is much religious decor visible in the dining area, so if that offends you, give this place a miss. This is the “Bible Belt”. This restaurant only accepts cash, which helps lower their costs.

This little gem was just a little ways off the interstate in the Wytheville area. We always stop for breakfast on our way south and this place caught our eye, so we decided to give it a shot. How glad we were to walk into a homey, southern, Jesus loving establishment that filled our bellies with food and love. We will definitely be back.

The staff were very nice and the food didn’t take too long to come out. The food tasted good and didn’t cost a lot. They had two tvs on the wall to watch, The tables were clean. The only bad things I have to say are that the chairs were ripped around the edges, and my food wasn’t very warm. I do recommend if you’re in the area and want something not too expensive.

Looking for good local home cooking after being on road a couple weeks. Walked in felt like been there 100 times. Probably hasn’t changed in a while. Food was quick, hot, and just what we wanted. If ever in area again Will definitely go back.

Very charming and quaint. Nestled in the hills of VA. The service was ok, serving staff was a little overworked. One cook so, food came out slow and piecemeal. Biscuits and gravy was bland, bacon was crispy but cold. The home fries were bangin’ though.

This was my 1st visit to Virginia Heights Restaurant. Was traveling and stopped in Wytheville VA to eat. Found this restaurant on Google maps. It was between Lunch and Dinner time so only about 6 others there eating. The lady waiting on tables was very friendly and helpful. The sweet tea was great. They serve home cooking and have a nice menu with many choices available. I got the pork chops (2) dinner which came with two vegetables I got mashed potatoes and collard greens and biscuit and tea for $8.95. My friend got chop steak which comes with two vegetables. Got tater tots and buttercorn and roll and tea for $8.95. The food took a while to cook was there just over 1 hour in time but was worth the wait.

Food was great! Service was good! Best French toast ever! Convenient location. Offers full menu all hours for us non breakfast eater! Burgers were a good size and a good price. Can get busy on weekends.

Very good, home cooking. Loved the sweet tea. Reminds me of a small town jewel that only the locals know about. Glad we found this restaurant.

This little restaurant is 100% southern soul. We were looking for somewhere to eat on the road, and decided to give this place a shot, and boy did it exceed expectations! We were greeted and seated immediately, and our server was super professional, friendly, and efficient. The locals were also friendly and struck up conversations with us about our travels. The food itself was affordable, filling, and very tasty. I definitely recommend the fried pickles! The food does take a little while, but that’s expected and welcomed as it is all made to order. I definitely recommend!
