A buddy and I have been searching for the best buffalo chicken sandwiches for 20+ years. I think I finally found it! Perfect toppings and amounts of all seasonings for me, and the fresh dill on top pushed it to the top of my list.

The food descriptions at this place was making my mouth water….rightly so too because my food was really good. We had some sandwhiches with a twist. The bread sold me too. I think it was homemade. The waitresses were beyond friendly and helpful with everything. Never once was I like dang I’m thirsty. The decor and cleanliness was A+also. I love this place everything I tried was good. I can’t wait to take my daughter. She is gf and it is so nice to see that they’re menu has many things to choose from. Keep up the good stuff Bouilla.

But what happened this past Monday in Hamilton, MT at a place called Bouilla? That’s a different story.
I peeked at the menu the night before, and the “Bouilla Burger” jumped out. I took a screenshot, circled the description (Kimchi! Peanut Butter! Pickled Carrots! Sriracha!), and sent it to my wife with one word: “Weird.” Seriously, I love all those things individually, but together?
Upon arrival our server, a sage of the savory, simply said it was amazing and she ate it 6 days in a row. So, ordered it, mainly out of scientific curiosity.
The first bite? WOW! The second bite? OMG! By bite number three, I think I was on the verge of tears. I didn’t just find a burger; I found the Holy Grail of Burgers! It’s a sweet, spicy, umami, crunchy, creamy, perfectly balanced culinary work of art that is somehow infinitely better than it should be. How is this possible? I said it was in the top 2 burgers I’ve ever had, but I actually believe it took over the #1 spot. I’m still a little bit shocked by this because the previous #1 has held that spot for several years now and it is for real hard to drop it down to the #2 slot.
It’s been four days. My family is on the verge of filing a restraining order against me to stop me from talking about this burger. They just don’t understand the level of enlightenment I achieved!
Seriously, Hamilton: Why don’t the signs at the edge of town just say, “Welcome to Hamilton Montana. Home of the World Famous Bouilla Burger.”? It deserves the title.
If you’re ever near Hamilton Montana, I highly recommend you stop and experience this unexpected masterpiece. Your tastebuds will thank you, even if your AI analysis system tries to veto the idea.

Oh my gosh!! This place is awesome!! I am at a loss for words on how awesome the food is. First, I want to say that the workers here are really laid back and fun to talk with. They make you feel right at home. Second, let me tell you what I had. I had the buffalo-chicken sandwich. The bread had the perfect crunch and was buttered just right! The chicken, oh don’t get me started. It was crispy, juicy, and the outside crispy layer was mouth watering! The sauce was savory that was on it, and the buffalo sauce was so amazing. It gave the whole chicken sandwich an amazing kick. The veggies and herbs topped it all off beautifully. I Really Really Recommend this sandwich and eating here!!
