My favorite place to have sushi in Cleveland. Locally owned and run by a wonderful husband and wife, this place is one of a kind. Sydney, our server for the evening was polite, personable and gave us her recommendations when we asked what she liked. She was a delight !

3/25. Good food, great service as usual. Any roll you order will be on point. The fries are weirdly good. The lobster bisque came out smooth and hot. The mocktails were fun and the galette was traditional!

Came to SASA for our anniversary. We wanted to try something new so we drove nearly an hour to Shaker Square. The restaurant is very quiet and beautiful. The staff was so friendly, and knowledgeable.
We tried 2 glasses of Nagori sake, as well as the highly recommended Sasa fries. They are extremely tasty, but be careful, they are very filling.
The highlight of the dinner was the Sasa Fire roll. A server came out and explained the process. The roll was wrapped in foil and soaked in oil. She then lit the roll ON FIRE, the flame died down and I unwrapped the roll to reveal it had a slight char. What a spectacular dish. Would love to come back again!!!

The rock rocks
East west roll fantastic
Spicy dynamite was, well, dynamite.
Service from Ximena was attentive and professional.
The coat room was crowded with detritus and not enough room for coats.

I’ve eaten here so many times for years . It’s usually fantastic but tonight it was just not good. They got crowded suddenly around 6:30 and the service just went down fast. We waited 45 minutes for appetizers and by the time we left it was over two hours. The staff is very friendly but just had overall not a good experience

We had a great experience at SASA! The food was delicious and felt very fresh, and the service was very good. One of the better sushi places we’ve been to in Cleveland and very easy to make reservations online. Definitely planning to come back!

The sushi was great! I’ve been looking for a place with quality sushi in the area, and I finally found one! The restaurant seems to be dimly lit to deliberately give a low key vibe, and it’s a very nice atmosphere. The service was very attentive. We tried a lot of different sushi rolls – Torched Island, Vietnamese Roll, Toro Roll, Zen Garden Roll, Spicy Dynamite, Fuji Volcano, Firecracker (not pictured in that order, unfortunately), and they were all top quality! I think my favorite might have been the Vietnamese Roll – sushi wrapped in rice paper that tasted just like a Vietnamese spring roll. If you’re looking for quality sushi, I’d highly recommend checking this place out!

We tried SASA on a Sunday for dinner. It was relatively easy to get a reservation. Some of the dishes were good, especially the Calamari and Fried Shrimp Udon. The sushi was average, nothing to rave about. The drinks were a disappointment. The prices are way too high, 20-25$ for a sushi roll is definitely overpriced for the quality and taste.
