I’ve always really liked this sub place, but I’ve been here once a week for the last 3 weeks now. I literally crave their subs and all of the subs are good, I don’t always get the same thing. I always get something different. This location does a really good job! I personally like this location better than the one in Strongsville.Everything’s always fresh, the bread is so tasty and the manager is so wonderful. Thank you for always giving me such a great experience when I come.

First time here in Rocky River at this location! The customer service was phenomenal! A young man named Kalled prepared my meal and he was speedy and accurate and also smiled and made general conversation. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the menu items! The decor inside of the storefront is super cute and very detailed! I definitely recommend!

Put an online order for pickup on Uber Eats. I waited a while and the workers where polite enough but the food was horrible. The steak sandwich was cold and the bun was soggy. The hook & Ladder had a funky taste like spoiled sandwich meat.

Unfriendly and unprofessional ownership! I had two medium Subs made for me and drove a half hour to get home. When I got home and went to eat them they were made wrong. I called and the gentleman told me he would put my name in a book to make me one for free. I even saved my receipt and wrote down the gentleman’s name. I went back today several days later to get the free sub. The owner was very Brusque and rude. He said he couldn’t give me a free sub and that the employee would have to pay for it himself. And that the employee wouldn’t be working until 3:00 p.m. I live a half hour away and couldn’t come back. So first they made the two subs wrong and secondly the owner was rude and mean and wouldn’t honor his employees statement. Very unprofessional. Not the way to run a business. Not happy at all with either the food or the customer service.
Thank you customer service for responding. If you wish to make things right you can get me that free medium Sub that was promised me after two botched orders. LMK

The subs are well prepared by a friendly staff that goes out of its way to accommodate the customer. When ordered ‘fully involved’ as they like to refer to it, the sub looks, tastes, and feels like a substantial meal and not just a sandwich, a grade or two above the other sub places. The only drawback is that the wheat bread always tastes like it’s a day old, possibly two. It may not be but it always tastes that way, especially when compared with the regular Italian.

Poor customer service. Did the “buy 1 get 1” offer online—only got one sub. Firehouse says it’s DoorDash prob, they say Firehouse problem. Called Firehouse, they refuse to refund one or let me pick up other sandwich. Manager Randy did nothing to fix situation—not even an apology.
Plus they got my very simple order wrong.

On multiple occasions I have requested extra pickles and either did not receive any or i did not get the extra requested. My sandwich was also made incorrectly. I asked for no mayo and still got mayo on multiple occasions. Very disappointed and will not be back.

UPDATE: I’m dropping it down to 2 stars. This is the second time I’ve had them ignore my order. I get an Italian with sautéed mushrooms (extra $3) and no provolone cheese because I’ve got a severe dairy allergy. Second time they’ve put cheese on it. I talked with a man tonight who didn’t sound very apologetic and didn’t offer any compensation. I didn’t scream or shout at him and told him my frustration and that I have a severe allergy. Service has truly gone downhill since last year when they use to actually care about allergens. If you’re allergic to milk or gluten (even with their gluten free buns) avoid this place!
Firehouse Subs rule!! I LOVE their hot subs and they always take my dairy allergy into consideration (one of the few places who does without a fuss).
I just had their catering for my wedding party and oh man they were a HIT!!! I got my sister in law a gluten free ciabatta roll which she said was stellar. They delivered it on time and in neat boxes. I was able to call over the phone as their website’s catering page wasn’t working. Everyone loved their delicious sandwiches and chips!
Well done Firehouse Subs for feeding a hungry wedding group and dealing with two allergies at once!
