This was a super cool concept! New to me for sure. It was really easy to be seated, select a broth and get started!
Prices were pretty transparent since they were color coordinated plates with different prices. Gluten free broth labeled! Definitely recommend.

The soups no matter which one we ordered had a bit too much MSG and were on the sweeter side, but aside from that, the restaurant was quite satisfying.
I think it offers good value for the price.
It would be nice if they could replace the bucket for empty bags for each customer.

I had lunch here with my sister and friend yesterday for the first time, and it was honestly a really fun experience! I had the mushroom broth, which was super delicious. The service wasn’t that great honestly, but I enjoyed the music they were playing. The portions are huge, and we ended up sharing most of the vegetables and meat that we got. Only concern was when we were paying, we didn’t keep track of what colored plates we got by the end and noticed the at we were charged an extra plate of meat. Couldn’t really say anything cause she took all the plates away, but now we know for next time to double check before paying. Also the water container was dirty too. Other than that this was a really fun experience!

Cool concept, but not quite worth it for solo diners

Tried out this new hot pot place and have mixed feelings. There’s definitely potential here, and some standout features. The conveyor belt concept is super fun—like a sushi belt but for hot pot—which makes it visually engaging. The broth is one of the most flavorful I’ve had at any hot pot restaurant, and the sauce station is solid. I also appreciated that they don’t charge for leftover food and that you can take your broth to go. Those touches were thoughtful.

However, there are some significant downsides that would keep me from coming back—especially as a solo diner. The portion sizes are huge—each plate is enough for two people, and since plates are priced individually, you end up spending more than you would at an all-you-can-eat place but get to try way less variety. I only got about five or six items total before I was full and over budget.

This spot could really shine if they adjusted the portion sizes for individual diners and leaned into the conveyor belt experience, letting people try small amounts of lots of things. As it stands, unless you’re sharing plates with someone else (and maybe splitting the cost), it just doesn’t offer great value for the price.

If you’re okay with trying only a handful of items and want good broth, you might enjoy it. But if you’re looking for variety and value, I’d recommend an all-you-can-eat hot pot instead.

Never, ever, EVER a bad experience. The food, the service and the vibe.. can’t get enough of it! My secret to perfection is the Wagu beef short rib, bok choy, seafood mushrooms in spicy broth. I also love alternating the beef w pork Belly and make a yummy pork Belly sandwich with the pork Belly, Oyster Sauce, Jalapeño and love. Thanks again everyone at Hotpot Story, until next time!

We accidentally went here for lunch. We intended to go to the pho place across the street, but it was closed for kitchen renovations. We saw the hot pot story and decided to give it a try knowing nothing about it. It was so much fun and so delicious! The customer service was great with the staff helping you as much as you would like. Everybody gets their own pot of broth on a heating plate and then all of the food comes around on a conveyor and you just pull the plates off the conveyor and cook them yourself in your broth. As we sat there eating we were making a list of friends we were going to bring! I would highly recommend for everyone, it’s a lot of fun and so many choices.

My wife, my mom and I went here and were absolutely blown away at how great and tasty the food was. We had made reservations (because it is packed, rightfully so) and we were brought to the table by this young dude that was super professional and nice. Sat down, enjoyed our time and the great food for about 2 hours and left. The price was as expected for 3 people that were very hungry. I will definitely be returning.

It was a lot of fun and they have a lot of options to choose from. The spicy broth was awesome, nice heat to it. My daughter got the pho broth and that was also very good! Cool dining experience! Easy to learn for newbies as well

Was our first time, it was a great experience! The base price is $5 for the brother then around $2-6 per plate of item you choose to put in the broth. I kinda went overboard and got around 8 plates but it was awesome and filling nonetheless. Great for late cold winter evenings during this time of year. Highly recommend
