my husband and I absolutely LOVE everything about best china chef. the service is quick every single time, the taste and texture of everything is perfect and the staff is always so nice when we go in. everythings decently priced as well and portions are huge (always leftovers)

Shrimp lo mein was good, I was upset that it had mushrooms in it but it was good. The shrimp and broccoli was also delicious but it was so small. Almost 9 bucks for half of a platter is crazy.

I’ve been coming here for years now. I can confidently say they are the best chinese restaurant around in my opinion. Their shrimp lo mein is my go-to. It is thick, flavorful, and always cooked right, and it comes in excellent portions stuffed right up to the lid of the box. Their dumplings are also delicious, and come with a tangy, smokey sauce. I usually get them fried, but the steamed are great too. The building itself is a clean little well-lit mom and pop shop that always smells of fine spices and roasting meats as soon as you open the door. It’s a cozy little place that always has something unique and interesting on the tv, and the staff both american and chinese are friendly and efficient. Overall, I’d recommend giving this place a look over other options in the area, as though it has similar features to other restaurants of It’s genre, it’s the little extra things that make me miss this place whenever I try chinese food far from home.

Order was completed very quickly. I ordered General Tsos and Shrimp Lo Mein which I have done from multiple different restaurants for years and although the food was good I was very disappointed to find mushrooms in my Lo Mein. I absolutely hate mushrooms and I have never had them in Lo Mein before. My husband also had General Tsos with White Rice and his was great!

Best China Chef, Perkiomen Ave, Shelborne Square, Exeter, PA is always a satisfying dining experience. Great food and service, nice atmosphere and food! Your host Rick is a great guy, who keeps the atmosphere fresh and entertaining. The owner, Phillip, loves to talk Chinese cuisine and his family history as one of great food and customer service. My personal favorites are Beef with Snow-peas, General Tso’s Chicken, Beef low mein, awesome Shrimp Egg rolls, and on and on! Stop in for the best Chinese Cuisine in Berks County!

This is the third time in a row that we have ordered from here and they have been missing something from my order. This time I picked up and they were missing the shrimp fried rice and of course my two meals were missing the broccoli. The last time they were missing two entire meals and I picked up and didnt check and when I got home I noticed my order was short and when I called they said there was nothing they could do. This time I did pick up and checked while standing there and noticed the missing items and the woman said she didn’t double check the order but was told it was all there. I always tip 20% even on pick up and this will be the last time I order from here. They constantly miss items that I pay for and have nothing but excuses but no solutions to the problem. Last time I had to drive back to pick up missing items. They don’t care here and rip you off with a smile on there face.

First time trying this place. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Great quality, great portions, great value. I had the general tso’s chicken with vegetable fried rice and spare ribs. The spare ribs were out of this world!!!!

If I could rate zero I would. I have ordered 3 times for this place. Two too many! The food is always salty the female manager is rude even worse on the phone. I ordered the Peking Duck Sat 17th my 2nd $30 order from them (with no free drink no incentive to repurchase) I called to ask if they give anything for those large orders they said no. When my order arrived I ate a piece of duck shared my daughters food out and went for another piece of duck and saw feathers. I called back told the person who answered the phone that there are feathers on the duck. They passed the phone to someone else who then said they buy the duck from New York and everyone likes it. No complaints. I asked ‘Do you inspect the duck before you buy it or when you receive it’ I am still waiting not the answer because he started to scream into the phone that its no their fault they are a customer too and ‘I dont care, I dont care, I dont care’ what I am saying or the reason i am upset. A man came on the phone asked if i ate the rice I said no he hung up. I called back, asking what is going to be done, they are asking me to bring the food to them. I said I am unable to which is why I ordered delivery. They then said they will send a driver when the food is returned they will credit my card. They called back again a manager left a voicemail, I called back she took my card info to credit me and the driver collected the feather duck about 20mins later. I was not refunded the tax I paid but I guess they think I should just be happy I got a refund. My next email will be to consumer affairs and BBB.
