The family decided to try this place. The baseball and football games were on which was a nice bonus. I tried the Frozen Whiskey Coke which was a great balance – the Whiskey taste wasn’t too overpowering, but the drink was strong. We all enjoyed the mozzarella sticks and my husband loved the Philly cheesesteak and tater tots. The menu is fun with lots of variety and things you would never think to put together, like spaghetti tacos. Definitely worth a stop at this place if you’re in the area.

The food is just delicious. I dont need flowery language or prose, just…. go eat here. The fries are hot and crispy, the flautas are INCREDIBLE, the pizza-dilla is luscious and tasty. The queso is welcome at my table ANY time. Im picky about so many things and its just not an issue here.
You can order at the counter but you can also just walk in and sit down and tap or scan the menu tab and order and pay and everything all from there. That certainly doesnt mean youre neglected though. The staff are very thoughtful and will check in with you a couple (but not too many) times.

Always enjoy Awesome Times! They have a nice chicken caesar wrap I love for lunch, but we love to splurge on Friday nights with some wings and Mt Fuji or Taco Tuesday tater tots. Bar and restaurant service is always great! During football season we go watch some of the Marcus game on Fridays, and this year we went and watched a UNT game up there. Last night we went up there for one of the many spirit nights they host in support of our community. It’s just good food and a fun vibe.

This place is a gem. The food is good, the service is over the top, and the atmosphere is unmatched. This is a regular date night spot for my wife and I, especially on music bingo night! This is a great place to watch the game, eat good food, have a drink with friends or just socialize with neighbors. Always love coming here and seeing the smiling faces. The owners are also very friendly.

Awesome Times is the perfect name for this place. I work at Liquorland and this place is at the opposite end of the building so just a few steps away. The staff are always pleasant and accommodating and the food is great always made fresh and you can taste that. Its a cozy place with a small bar and open kitchen so you can see them cooking. I haven’t found anything I did not –

My friend and I were in the area when we found Awesome Times TX. The food and service are excellent and the decor is terrific.
My friend had the patty melt and onion rings, saying they were the best she had ever had. I had the chicken quesadillas. They were YUMMY! The chicken was flavorful and juicy.
We both wished we lived much closer to this restaurant – but then we would have traffic.

After our first time here I wrote a review on yelp, and now after our second time I just had to post another review here on Google. We just moved to Texas from AZ with two toddlers. We don’t get out much, but this will for sure be our spot when we do. It’s a casual spot with great food and drinks. My husband and I love that we can get in quick and easy if need be with our kids, but we still get to enjoy their bar and have our own little date night if you will. It is such a great spot for date night, families, friends, etc. The owner was so nice and brought my kiddos watermelon. They loved it. The bartender made us a great margarita. Other staff members checked on us throughout our visit and was so friendly and attentive. The vibe here is unmatched. Can’t forget to mention how good the food is, it is so delicious. Strongly recommend trying this place if you haven’t already.

Service is less starts as you order and then sit down, there aren’t true servers, otherwise everything is worth 5 stars! The food is amazing, we did not have a bad anything. The Taco Tuesday Tots are probably my new favorite food item. The owners are some of the nicest people and the staff is so friendly. I watched the owner/chef sweeping the floor and bussing tables all while visiting with patrons. Such a down to earth place. If you haven’t been don’t sleep on this spot!

Great food and perfect restaurant for families! We had four babies 2 years old and younger and they were quick to supply us with enough high chairs. And I loved that the restroom had a stocked changing table – just so thoughtful! Will definitely be coming back.

Food was really good. Place was clean, cute decorations, great place for the 20-30 age group. Only reason to not give a five was for a couple of reasons. First time here, entered, took a minute to find the menu, cashier, & layout. Expected a cafe by the name. Once I spotted the menu in the corner, it was too high up & had a strong glare making it hard to read. The cashier offered a menu, was very helpful & advised bar codes were on the table. Self serve drinks makes the price a bit pricey, but the serving size was decent. Hated the napkins. Had to use way too many with a juicy burger. Friday came with a lot of season salt. Would have preferred to have been asked if I wanted the extra salt. Otherwise, not a bad place to eat. Outside seating on a good day available.
