Keeping Up With The Davis Family!!
My coworker recommended this place… so I tried it and wow, they did NOT disappoint. I ordered the oxtails and the jerk chicken, and both plates came with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains; everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. The oxtails were tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. The jerk chicken definitely brought the heat… spicy, smoky, and packed with flavor. The rice and peas were fluffy, the cabbage was really good, and the plantains added the perfect touch of sweetness. I’ll be going back to try their curry goat. The staff were really nice. I’ll definitely be back!

We heard about this restaurant and decided to make the hour drive to give it a try – so glad we did!! We tried the jerk chicken, oxtails, brown stew chicken, side of wings and the chicken soup. The plates were served with rice and peas, cabbage and 3 plantains. Listen… EVERYTHING was good. I love spicy foods and the jerk chicken plus the rice and peas did not disappoint. I appreciated the flavor profile of each side and entree as no two items tasted the same. If I had to pick a top 3, the jerk chicken, cabbage and brown stew chicken would be my personal faves. My husband really enjoyed the oxtails. They weren’t jerked but had a slightly sweet Caribbean taste. Nicely done! From the cost to serving size and customer service, everything was spot on.

Beef patties are good. Large jerk chicken plate enough for 2 people. Not too spicy. Oxtails have nice flavor. Good selection of Jamaican beverages and treats.

My husband and I are from out of town, and we’re visiting relatives for the holidays. We tried this place today for lunch. My husband ordered the jerked chicken, I ordered the goat curry. The portions were enormous, even though I ordered the small, it was enough for two meals. Everything was delicious. The meat was flavorful and fell right off the bone; I really liked the plantains. The server was really helpful with recommendations for us, and was kind enough to let the guy behind us sample the dishes before he made a decision. We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu the next time we’re in town.
I wanted to add to this review a day later. I have very picky kids, who found my container of leftovers. Much to my surprise, my oldest daughter ate the rest of my goat curry and asked me for more. Super excited to take her back with me next time!

No misses here, only amazing, flavorful Jamaican food every time we have visited. The chicken noodle soup, served only on Saturdays, is incredible, rich, and full of delicious chunks of chicken (watch out for the bones!), carrots, and potatoes. The jerk chicken is some of the best we have had, but the true showstopper on our last visit was the jerk pork which was on a whole other level.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they genuinely seem excited to share their cuisine with both newcomers and regulars alike.

I stopped by here for lunch. I grabbed some cocoa bread, Jamaican beef Pattie, and Brown Stew Chicken (it came with rice & peas, cabbage, and plantain).
There is ample parking and seating. The restaurant staff are friendly and professional.
My meal was delicious! My main course had meat that fell off the bone. The cocoa bread was warm and fluffy and the patty was warm, flaky and delicious! I will be back again.

We drive an hour to visit. Great experience. This restaurant did not disappoint. The jerk oxtail is to die for. The jerk chicken and rice were very spicy. So, if you don’t like spicy, be aware. The fried cabbage is great. My daughter and I shared a small plate. You get plenty of food in a small order. I’m afraid to see what the large looks like. Very nice staff. I would recommend

Back to Texas again after two years away and came straight here for some food. Seems a lot busier and more popular than last time I was out and if so, it’s well deserved.
Incredibly helpful staff always with good vibes and a smile.
Food is absolutely stunning. Had the Curry Goat again today with some rice and pea, cabbage and fried dumplings. The wife had the same sides but jerk chicken as a main. Phenomenal!!!
Gonna miss this place when I head back to the UK.

Tried this place today and for the price you definitely get your money worth. My only thing was the mac and cheese had NOOOOOO flavor but nothing a salt didn’t fix. Overall I would recommend to try it out.
