Highly recommended. Outstanding food and customer service. I’ve had shrimp cocktails from San Diego to Redding across the entire state of CA and this place serves the best by far anywhere!! Everything on the menu is made in house from chicharrones, carnitas by the pound, fresh tortillas, tacos and enchiladas. A single Birria taco is a meal in itself. A must place to eat when in Reno for authentic Mexican food!!

Small little place on N Virginia street across from Bonanza Casino. Food is delicious my husband loves their carnitas and I love the asada gorditas. Sometimes its very busy and long wait if you want to eat there. The birria is also very good my kids like getting menudo everytime.

Used to be the only place I would get my marinated asada now everything looks unfreshed still decided to get some chicken to barbecue got home and opened the bag and it’s old. It smells sour and rank. Couldn’t even cook it. Not going to drive back over there in 100° weather to figure this out. Do not recommend at all

Here is a spot known to locals as having great food. It is a combination of restaurant and market. There is lots of parking, even for trailers, and RVs. You can get freshly seasoned meat to take home to cook, and even buy some homemade salsa. There are plenty of tables to sit at. Their breakfast burritos here are huge. I had a chorizo burrito, and couldn’t eat it all. It was delicious. We returned a couple of weeks later for lunch. I had the Chicken Enchilada lunch special. It was so good. They served it with sour cream and guacamole. It came with a side of Salsa Verde that had just the right amount of medium pepper heat for me. My friend had the carnitas plate, and said it was very good, and we should come back next week for lunch again! This place can get busy during lunch, as the construction workers come here to feed the crews. But the wait is worth it. The food here is much better than some of the Mexican-style food that I have tried in the area. Stop in and give them a try.
