The food was good,large portions. We arrived early, so service was just warming up for the day, so it’s hard to give a fair judgement. The atmosphere felt nice and casual. My husband tried to steal chicken quesadilla, besides would go again.

This place was once amazing and no longer is. This place has below average food and above smelly bathrooms. I think they should invest in air freshener for the facility. Smelling bowel movements while I eat is not conducive to a quality dinner. This has been on more than one occasion. The only thing worse than smelling the BM’s from our table is going into the bathroom to use the facilities. The inside of the bathroom has urine on the floor, toilet paper in the toilet, and a wet door handle. YUK!!! El Portillos is El Grosso.

First time eating here. The restaurant was nice and clean. Bartender was very friendly and made you feel at home. Made great athletic drinks. Huge selection of all different kinds Mexican food. We got the Chorio queso it was delicious good portion to share. We will definitely be back.

First time at this restaurant and will honestly say it’s pretty authentic. The decor and music were great! My server was Jaime and he was very attentive. I enjoyed my food as well! Definitely a must if you are in the Hutchinson area!

Can I give negative stars? This was supposed to be Cheese Enchiladas with onions, but it tasted like Chef Boyardee canned ravioli. It’s almost as if this place used to be an Italian Restaurant and they found a left over can of spaghetti sauce. In fact, even the salsa tasted like spaghetti sauce!

Great family run Mexican restaurant. We went on a Sunday night when the restaurant we were supposed to go to close two hours earlier than Google said that it was going to close. This was one of the few places still open. I’m so happy they were open. The service was amazing, but I think we were the only people in the place. A large group was leaving when we arrived. So anyway, we ordered quickly ish. She got a shrimp dish. I got the steak fajitas. The food came out quickly, hot, fresh, and delicious. They have mexican fruit sodas I like. If we had come sooner we would have enjoyed talking our time in the home style mexican restaurant feel. If you’ve been to a real family run restaurant that’s good you know what I’m talking about. It’s a good place with good food and nice people.
