The dining room was nice, the company fantastic. The food was a pleasant surprise and filling. I started off with lentil soup followed by a nicely spiced vegetarian dish. The bummer was the waiter who leaned over my food and nearly flipped over my drink.

Not the easiest to find, but the crab cakes were great but I wasn’t as impressed with the sides. The Cadillac Margarita I had was perfect.

An interesting location in the National Press Club the staff were very nice however the food was lackluster and slightly bland. The decor was classic, however the atmosphere was very calm and great for an intimate meeting without being overly crowded or loud. The bathrooms were a bit difficult to find and were located in the hall down from the restaurant.

I Found this restaurant on TravelZoo. It is located in an inconspicuous place, the 13th floor of the National Press Building. The place was empty. The server was very pleasant. Food came out fast but a little warm. All-in-all, my food was delicious.

Astonished at the rave reviews. Food was decent (four starts at the very most) but service, though pleasant, was careless and the whole experience (including a mistakes in the check and delay processing the credit card charge) not to be repeated.

I had the express lunch soup and sandwich $10. It was very good I love cold canteloupe and ginger soup. The staff where very attentive and the restaurant ambience was worth the price aline

Excellent food and service. Nervous when we were the only patrons at 730 pm, but I now realize people are just missing out on this DC gem!
