First time here. Came into place an order to go, even though there were plenty of seats available, and they didn’t seem too busy. We ordered wonder burgers, curly q fries, and chocolate shakes. The burgers were okay. We had ordered them as doubles but got single patties. The fries were good but probably better fresh out of the fryer. The chocolate shakes were very good but a bit small for the price. The service was friendly. Might come back if in the area.

WOW, just moved to the neighborhood and I couldn’t be more happy to find this place. The food was amazing, drink was huge (iced tea) Our server Mae was very friendly and welcoming, but the best part was the amazing grilled chicken sandwich served with chili on the side, highly recommended to dine in with your family

Fun location with open-able roof. Fun venue filled with restaurant’s decades long history, wall scrabble, patio, and occasional live music. Reasonable prices. Fries weren’t my favorite but the onion rings were excellent and the patty melt was the best I’ve ever had. Also parking onsite is always a plus in that neighborhood

Ah, Wonderburger. The name that goes back for a million years. I’m too young to remember how the first one is, but it’s at least way better than that God-awful bland Mexican joint that shares its space–hopefully soon they can expand into that space too.
It’s a good burger for a good price! I got a double Wonderburger with the special sauce (which you can see is more of a chili sauce than a Thousand-Island dressing style), I thought it complimented the burger nicely. They don’t overdo the lettuce, it was a tasty cut of beef cooked to my liking. My dad really enjoyed his chocolate malt, as I did my rootbeer float (glad to know there was a small size of it too). It would be cool if they had a custom rootbeer, like back in the Frosted Mug days before the cockroaches took that place over.
For what it is, a traditional burger place with a classic name, I couldn’t not show this place some love. If it’s lunch time and you’re in this area, get here.

Delicious, local burger joint! My Reuben was probably the best I’ve ever had. Extremely fresh with homemade Russian dressing and nicely toasted dark rye. The home cut curly fries were also a genuine treat. These curly fries were infinitely better than those served by chains. I had a vanilla malt for dessert which was delicious too. I’d eat here way too often if this restaurant was local to me.
The staff was very friendly and even the souvenir t-shirts were very modestly priced. I hope I get a chance to come back soon!

Very fairly priced hotdogs, polish, burgers and more. There is a nice drink choice with import, domestic, and local area favorites. You have multiple burger choices. There is a wondering, fish and chips, and other choices. Service was stellar. On a Saturday night the restaurant was full. Parking is a little challenging, but does rotate spaces in a timely manner.

My family has been regulars at the original Wonderburger since the 70s. When the original location announced that they were closing we went multiple times before the doors finally shut and we’ve been missing it ever since. We were so excited and overjoyed to hear of the reopening and in it’s return Wonderburger brought one of my favorite dives into 2019.
The food tasted exactly as I remember, from to the toasted bun, half slice of cheese and special sauce on the Wonderburger to the curly fries and chicken dumpling soup!
The fresh and bright ambiance is a modern and impactful tribute to the location on Kedzie. We will definitely continue being regulars and I am so happy that I am able to pass the Wonderburger tradition to my future kids!

Not only was the service and food great..I asked if they could put the team USA hockey team on. It took them awhile to find it. It was a memorable experience.
