The pizza is amazing! I love the variety of toppings. However, both times I have been there, the checkout takes forever. The guy last night didn’t even acknowledge my presence when I came up. He was dealing with an issue with the computer, but he didn’t say anything like, “I will be with you soon. Sorry about the wait.”

First time I visited this pizzeria a couple of weeks ago I gave it a 5 star because pizza was great. Today I went to the pizzeria in person to pick up two pizzas. The second pizza was still in the oven. Waited on site almost 10 minutes more than what website indicated. While waiting I noticed the employees did not seem to have pride in their work or give a damn on how they work. It’s hard to explain why but I definitely did not like the atmosphere there. When I got home the family was in shock seeing both pizzas so burned we could hardly eat it. First time we have had this kind of experience for a pizzeria and now I can’t recommend this location until the owners pay more attention to this business to assure pizzas are cooked correctly. Unfortunately this location can be a hit or miss as far as quality assurances are concerned.

Pizza was good. The brownie was hard like a rock. Staff was interesting. A bit disappointed they didn’t have the blood orange lemonade since I come to blaze, over other pizzerias, for the lemonade.

It was my first time and I must say it won’t be my lasr! I was told about it from a close friend. It was like a sub shop but with pizza. You pick any thickness of dough which the iriginal is perfect, any sauces you want plus any meat from around 7 different types. Then you have a choice of around 12 or more different toppings. As many as you want and as much as you want. Baked in a super hot blazed oven. It was absolutely the best tasting pizza I have ever had! Service was great and the workers were very professional in handling my order. There was 7 of us and everyone took half of what they ate home. For $12.00 for two meals, you can’t beat it. Only wish there was one in Forest City N..C. All we have is Mexican, Chinese, Chicken, and fast food joints. Try it, you won’t regret it if you want a super great pizza!

Sigh. UPDATE 6 mo later. Why my husband insists on this place is beyond me but I think he’s finally done. It took 30 min to even take our order – 3 confused employees, going back and forth to the back and to the parking lot (remember this point). Finally, We order 3 pizzas, 2 cheesy breads. They’ve already put away the dough, most of the toppings and all the salad. It took so long to take our order that pizza 1 was done and being called out before pizza 3 was even written down. It was cheese – they miraculously hadn’t put up yet. Whatever. We sit. We wait. Pizza 2 finally comes out 20 min later. Oh – they’ve already dumped the tea 90 min before close. We’ll get water. Oop. They dont have straws and we have small children so we go to Qdoba to get drinks. Come back – still waiting on pizza 3 but the cheese bread finally comes out. 45 min in to this endeavor. Waiting on Pizza #3 and we notice there’s nothing in the oven, nothing on the table waiting. Where’s the 3rd pizza? Chaos ensues – one says it was never made, one says she put it down and handed it to Employee #2, one says he boxed it up and sat it down. It’s gone. Employee goes to parking lot to a car to talk to someone and comes back. We just need a refund. The kids are done, it’s now been an hour. Employee goes back to the parking lot and returns with the manager! Guess he’s working remotely from the car. Whatever. Well between the 5 of them they say they don’t know how to work the computer to do a refund. 20 min later they figure it out and we get to escape.
Waited almost a year before trying this place again and somehow it’s worse. Trying to order and the girl just wanders off, stares into space and turns around when we’re trying to talk to her. We were told the 5 for $35 wasnt cheaper than ordering 3 pizzas and a side and yes our total was $68. “BBQ Blaze” apparently doesnt come with BBq sauce on it. They’re out of over half their drinks. Back to Qdoba we go!
