With a full heart and profound reflection, I share one of the most difficult decisions of my life: The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm closed on August 31, 2025. What began as a dream blossomed into a beautiful journey. Never could I have imagined how deeply this restaurant would shape my life, how many treasured memories would be written along the way. It has been my honor to work alongside passionate farmers, artisan producers, winemakers, brewers and more. Together, we honored the land, celebrated the bounty of our region and upheld a vision of sustainability and connection with the earth. From the depths of my heart, thank you. My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of renting this restaurant for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner service in June 2025. The event was exceptional. The venue itself is stunning—intimate, warm, and full of character, making it the perfect backdrop for such a meaningful occasion.
The staff was attentive and professional throughout the entire day, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Our guests are still raving about the food. Chef Colby was a joy to work with—engaged in the planning process and full of thoughtful, creative alternatives to accommodate both our adventurous palates and the dietary restrictions of our guests.
The owner, Beverley, went above and beyond on the day of the event. Her presence and support made all the difference, and her commitment to making sure we felt taken care of was evident.
We also dined here earlier in the year for Valentine’s Day and had a similarly memorable experience. Whether you’re planning a major event or simply looking for a special night out, we wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

We went here for our 1st wedding anniversary this past weekend. It was such a special occasion made bittersweet by the fact that they are closing permanently this week.
The food and drinks were delicious, the ambiance pleasant, and the staff knowledgeable and friendly.
I will cherish the evening we spent there. It reminded us that with the right people in the right setting, eating a meal can be transformed into an act of gratitude and celebration.
I hope there is another farm to table restaurant opening in the DMV what will carry on the mantle of this institution for future generations to enjoy!

We had a wonderful time dining at Patowmack farms! We were served ~9 courses and enjoyed all of them! The cocktail menu was amazing and we tried a couple. Wine selection is a bit limited, but they were great options. Incredible views from the greenhouse and the staff were near perfect! We’ll be back again

Great for special occasions. Went for my birthday and was given personalized menu. John was amazing. Giving great explanations of food, history and wines. Food was clearly prepared with care, love and attention to detail. We had the choice on whether to sit inside beautiful dining room or outside on covered patio. Would definitely go back.

We came here for a birthday dinner and was pleasantly surprised at how intimate and scenic this location was! We had a 9-course tasting menu and each dish was both delicious and distinct from the rest. Had a few cocktails and the hidden gem was my favorite (light grey goose blueberry and I believe chamomile?). Shout out to our server John who made this evening absolutely perfect. At the end he introduced us to the talented pastry chef Michael who was a delight as well! Cannot recommend the Restaurant at Patowmack Farm enough!

They were incredibly accommodating when I had to change the reservation by a day and then they were absolutely wonderful throughout the dinner experience.
The food is fantastic. My photos don’t do it justice but every looked wonderful and tasted magnificent.
I am already looking at booking again as the menu changes regularly. I can’t wait

We went for our anniversary and they rolled out the red carpet for us, including setting us up in the gazebo with an amazing view and monogramming our menu. Our food was excellent and our server John (and the rest of the team) was the best.

Look no further for your next celebratory dinner. Just spent the last 2+ hours on an amazing food experience paired with fabulous wines. From arrival to departure everyone was so nice accommodating and so pleasant. Shout out to our server John for being so knowledgeable not only about the menu but about the region. Also, Chef Colby- food was impeccable and was so great for him to come out and say hello. I know it’s far out but make a day of it and get a cute Airbnb or car service or enjoy the scenic drive.

Exceptional! I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long and finally was able to for our wedding anniversary. It was the most I’ve ever spent at a dinner, but we left happy we went as the experience was truly worth it. Our server Bita was delightful and really added to the experience. More than just beautiful foods from the land but the service also leaves you feeling like you were a part of something special. I recommend sitting on the patio for the incredible view, and definitely recommend the wine pairings!

Incredible experience here. From the welcoming outside the front door to the place settings, quaint dining room and apropos music, Patowmack Farm nails it. The food is simply delectable in all courses; expertly planned, prepared and delivered. The cocktails were magnificent and expertly arranged by Steve behind the bar.
Ty was incredibly attentive and timely and seemed to have thought through our entire meal in planning even before we arrived.
Can’t recommend highly enough, do make the trip out for a rewarding experience.
