Worth the drive for Napolian pizza. Go early for dinner. Wait can be to be 30 minutes on a busy night.

The food here is so tasty. I’ve loved their pizza for years. Before I was vegan I’d get the burnt butter sage pizza with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. Delectable. Now I love their vegan pizza. Appetizers and carrot salad are yum too. Enjoy.

This place serves the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had—worth a visit for that alone. Highly recommend! I also loved their sparkling red wine; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lemon pizza and the sage pizza were excellent as well.

A few small suggestions as feedback: it would be great to see some vegetarian pasta options added. All the appetizers leaned on sweetness, which wasn’t quite our preference—having a few truly savory starters would be nice. Some chocolate-based dessert options would also be a welcome addition.

Overall, this is easily one of the best pizza spots around!

The crust here is hands down the best! perfectly chewy with just the right amount of crisp and char. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Their pasta is also solid, always cooked just right and full of flavor. And no visit is complete without ordering the sundae ice cream! it’s a must-have! Creamy, rich, and the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving great pizza and a cozy, satisfying meal.

One of best pizza spots in the east bay! Salami and Calabrian Chili pizza was superb. The meat was out of this world. The Caesar salad was excellent. All ingredients very fresh and well cooked. Flavors well balanced for both dishes. Wish I left room for dessert!

Really good pizza! Fun atmosphere with a great mix of patrons – from families with kids to couples on a date night out. Service was sweet and efficient. Soft serve for dessert is a must, and the cookie with black sea salt is mighty good too!

My first time here. Thinking about this amazing pizza makes me want to belt out my favorite song from my favorite band… while driving of course.

Last week a friend and I shared a Benchmark Pizza with Tomato, Mozzarella, Basil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Meatball Pizza with Tomato, Mozzarella, Grana, Meatballs, Parsley.
Perfect is the only way to describe the crust. Crunchy, chewy, smoky and flavorful. It stood up just fine to the sauce and toppings.
The Meatball Pizza was my favorite. Super tasty meatballs that complimented the sauce and cheese. I’ll take two next time.
The place is popular so Matt suggests you go early.
I can hardly wait to go back

Disappointed with the pizza. Ordered The Benchmark and Salami and Calabrian Chile and one coconut macaroon, the total was $59. The pizza lacked flavor, sauce, crispiness. I ordered online for pickup and orders are sitting by the entrance door, pizzas were cold by the time I picked up. It was a cold night and the physical door is open due to people coming and going. The sizes are small, and prices are slightly high for the portions. This place might be fine as a neighborhood spot, but not worth driving out of your way. The ambiance looks nice, with cool outdoor seating.

We were a large party – 9 people. Ended up waiting an hour to get a table. Manager consistently underestimated the wait time remaining as our wait wore on. Talking with other people also waiting indicated we weren’t the only ones with this problem. Food was good but can’t recommend this place for a group greater than four people.

Wow, wasn’t expecting this!
Benchmark punches well above its weight. Behind the unassuming decor is an A+ kitchen.
The burnt sage pizza and the sausage and mushroom pizza were both delicious. The dough is soft and extra chewy, with just the right amount of char. The bolognese was also incredible. The flavors and mouthfeel were perfectly balanced.

I adore a bread pudding, but am often disappointed by them. Not the case here, where the generous portion was soft, dense, and not too syrupy.

I was skeptical of why I would make my way up from Oakland to come to a pizzeria when there are dozens of others that are closer. I stand corrected.
