Always Awesome! These folks are always friendly and welcoming! They will know your name before you leave. Great food! Awesome Salad Bar!! The Prime Rib is my husband’s favorite! My favorite is the Ribeye Steak. My favorite waiter is Jacob. Jacob will keep your glass full and is very friendly and helpful. Plus – He is a hoot! Try this place, you’ll love it! Very clean and a good score of 96+ – 98+ !!

The owner was super friendly and even let us in early before they officially opened. Our waitress Samantha was great and the food was fantastic. Excellent Catfish dinner. Just a really nice time and a great meal.

Great place. Loved the whole atmosphere. Service was above and beyond. I will have to try something different the next time. Only complaint, the steak was super thin, and I ordered it medium rare and it was well done. A steak so thin probably couldn’t come out medium rare.

Best steak sandwich and salad bar. Super great service and always so friendly. They have homemade desserts, too. We had great service on the night the local community college had graduation ceremonies. We were a party of 10. Super crowded, but everyone’s food was great.

I thoroughly enjoy going to the country gentleman. I live close to forty miles away but it’s worth the drive considering where I live there’s nothing. The country gentleman is probably the best restaurant that I can think of in that part of Smithville. My wife and I decided to go the other night. When we arrived it was packed as usual. Nowhere to park. Now you know that when you go to a restaurant and there is nowhere to park that the food is pretty darn good more than likely. My wife had two catfish and I had the hamburger steak with sweet potato. It was delicious. Always is! I recommend just restaurant to anybody who looks for a good steak or good catfish and a good salad at a decent price. I normally spend about $60 there between me and my wife and it’s worth every

Excellent hidden gem in Fulton area. We just found and tried this place a few weeks ago. They said they have been there 45 years now. Great food, friendly people, hushpuppies are great also.

What a wonderful local place to grab dinner. Friendliness isn’t in the menu but it’s everywhere in the place. I had the prime rib, the wife had ribeye. Choc cake was great. Old fashioned salad bar and it was perfect. Highly recommend.

They did have the best hush puppies but this past visit they were different and nowhere near as good. My main complaint however is the prices went up so much it is unreal. I understand with covid everything has gone up but were talking $18 for hamburger steak and $17 for 3 of the smallest fish filets I ever had. Besides being small they were super thin with barely any meat. I left hungry and aggravated. We could have went to Outback for the same price and even had an appetizer. I am so done with Country Gentlemen
