This place to be a great place to go. It’s not anymore. The bar manager isn’t there anymore, the place is always dead, the atmosphere is horrible and there is no life in the place. Honestlly, without the bartender Im use to, I just see no reason to show up here. And the owner gossips about his ex-employees and I happen to know some of them very well. I suggest you stay away if you aren’t looking for sub-par everything

We happened upon this place looking for late night food passing thru. Oh My Goodness!!! My husband and I have had a LOT of pizzas, but this little friendly place has one of the best! The old country music, many tvs, and the sound of crack of the billiard balls made it comfortable and that’s exactly what you need after highways all day. If you like cheese, stop!! Get the pizza!!!

If you enjoy bawdy behavior, cigarette smoke drifting onto the street, and general nuisances to the small business community, this is the place for you. Gross doesn’t even begin to describe it when especially compared to the previous occupants of this location. Calling The Rec Room a dive bar feels generous. Are chaos and stale smoke are your vibe? Well, let me recommend a a spot.

We came here because another place was closed. Everyone said the pizza was amazing, so we tried it. It was terrible. The French fries were undercooked so we sent those back. The chicken nuggets tasted horrible so they had to have some sauce on them. In order to get in to the place we had to walk past about 6 people right outside the front door smoking. Then someone came into the restaurant and started smoking so the whole place smelled. There was all of 2 tables and our drinks stayed empty half the time.
It’s a small town, so we wanted to eat local, support local. But I will not be returning to this place.
$26 for a pizza?? Go get you 2 dominoes pizzas.

Quite place, with the pleasant hum of conversation and sports on the tvs. The kids enjoyed a variety of games; shuffleboard and pool were the favorites. The food was good, best pizza in town. Loaded with toppings and cheese, crust is a crust with a nice crispy bottom and sweet flavor. Owners are very friendly and hospitable. We will definitely frequent this family friendly place again and with our friends for a beer.
