Stopped in for lunch was excited to give this place a try after the burger review guy gave it a high rating. The first burger was rather a little raw for my liking after taking 2 bites. when the waitress came back round she asked if I would like a remake, I agreed she took the plate and went to the kitchen upon returning with a fresh cooked one it was on a plate by itself. When she returned she asked if it everything was good, I told her yes but im missing my mayo fries and ranch ( witch is a upcharge ) she gave me a puzzled look then came back with a ranch cup. Ended up paying the tab & leaving rather disappointed.

This is a nice little bar/restaurant in Ida Michigan. They have a nice selection of food choices including Brussel sprouts which my wife loves. I tried the bacon hot dog this trip and it was excellent. The hot dog is very plump and tastes like it came from grill. There was lots of bacon on it with bbq sauce and came with a large portion of chips. Stop in here for a beer and some food when in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve eaten lunch twice here now. Last time I ordered the meatloaf which was AMAZING. Today for lunch I got a Buffalo Ranch Chicken Salad, and it was delicious. Small town, and friendly service. You won’t be disappointed. Price was good too!

Stopped in for lunch and had one of the daily specials, the brisket sandwich. The food was great and the service was excellent. Plenty of other things on the menu I’d love to try when I go again.

I decided to try their smash burger, the bar keep said it was there special for the day. The price was higher than expected but it was worth every penny. Smash burgers have been on the rise in popularity for a while now and the Ida tavern is doing em’ right!
