The food and service at Passion Asian were very good. We shared a bowl of edamame with fine salt and hot and sour soup with tofu, Main courses were Thai spicy chicken with nice flavors and lots of heat. The Sweet Heart sushi roll and California roll were fresh and melt in your mouth. The staff were very attentive and friendly. A nice experience and I would definitely go back.

I don’t leave many reviews but this one is deserved. After moving to Maryland it has been challenging finding good Chinese and sushi – after 9 years of trying different places, I have finally found the best! Food was excellent, portions were huge, presentation was very nice and service was great. The American sushi roll was just to die for. We will definitely be returning regularly!

Wonton Soup was delicious, gyoza was good, the dumplings tasted a little funny, but the dipping sauce for both were great. My server seemed to switch halfway through my meal and had a slight break between courses, which helped for digestion. Very quiet location. Seafood over fried noodles had a generous portion

I got sushi and each roll was made with precision and care. Everything was packed full of flavor down to even the rice being prepared and flavored correctly, not a single bite was bland. I got the tuna nachos and each chip was prepared to be the perfect bite, each one has some of everything on it.
Definitely a hidden gem, glad I found it when I moved to the area, I will be back.

Been going here for several years now and it stays my go-to spot for Asian food. Everything I’ve tried has been good. The prices are within reason for the portions you receive. Service is always friendly and fast. Normally I’ll get takeout with my family but I’ve also dined in before and had an equally good experience. Despite being short on waiters that night we were there service was still great.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. My husband even enjoyed it. Pictured is what’s left of the Ravens Roll, shrimp fried rice and 2 chefs specials. Delicious!!! What I didn’t get a picture of was the shrimp toast. THE BEST I’VE EVER HAD!!!

First time eating here and ordered take-out, and absolutely loved it! Best Chinese in Pasadena in my opinion.
I got the:
Lemon chicken, which was 2 fried katsu cutlets with the lemon sauce in the side which was nice to keep the chicken crispy. It was lightly fried, fresh, and the sauce paired very well.
Fried rice, very light and fresh. Not heavy, and very flavorful
Szechuan string beans, nice crisp lots of sauce and onions, paired so well with everything!
My wife got the kung pao chicken. The pieces were nice and small which is what she likes! None of those big “gelatinous” pieces you usually get at a Chinese restaurant these days.
Lo mein, was flavorful with a nice bite.
Overall what a winner, everything was fresh and the staff is so friendly despite being so busy! They also had the food ready in 30 minutes just as promised. Highly, highly recommend!

The food was phenomenal. I had the drunken noodles as did my friend. We both asked for chili oil that was pretty void of any oil in both our containers. Not a huge deal. However getting a waiter to see to our needs we constantly had to flag someone down. Just to put in our order or ask for water or if the oil could be adjusted or for anything whatsoever, it was just every time a massive effort to get any attention paid to us at all. No one stopped by and asked how we liked our food which was delicious. Even to pay and get take out boxes I literally had to practically go into the kitchen to say “hey when you get a chance, if you could stop by our table, that would be fantastic. “To me this is not good customer service. And even though the food is so so good it makes me not want to go again. It makes me not want to tell anyone I know to go there. I was trying to have a really nice outing with my friend and it was a distraction and quite unfortunate. It wasn’t even like they were crowded and overrun with people so I don’t understand why it seemed as though we were completely invisible when the table right across from us had not the attention of one waiter, but three separate waiters. I just don’t understand that level of disrespect so that is why I cannot give this restaurant more than four stars and if there was a rating to give the service a -0 that’s what I would give.

It’s our first time to eat here. We ordered their lunch specials. The wonton soup is very good and the orange chicken is way better than the orange chicken I tasted from other restaurants. All the dishes are all very good. The waiter Andy is also very welcoming and cheerful. Very good customer service.
