First time going here, as my boyfriend who lives near this area was showing me around on a Saturday afternoon visit downtown and absolutely enjoyed it! The owner was lovely and explained all of their selections wells and even pointed us to a popular coffee shop a couple blocks away for recommendations. I tried the sugar cookie and vanilla confetti cupcakes and they all were stellar. He got the recees (peanut butter) cheesecake which looked really good. I will be going back to try more of their items. If I lived closer I’d be here a lot.

Carissa Hughes and her team have always gone above and beyond to make sure I had the perfect cake for every occasion. Everyone has ALWAYS been super friendly, creative and quick to respond to my emails and calls. And their cakes and goodies are soooooo Yummy! We had our wedding cake and cake pops delivered yesterday and it was exactly what we ordered from the looks to the flavors. Not only was the cake moist it tasted fantastic. Thank you everyone from gourmet goodies that worked on our cake and cake pops from the ordering to the baking, designing and delivery. We were proud to tell everyone at our “I do bbq” that all was was thanks to gourmet goodies! Everyone at the party loved it.

Amazing looking cake, it looked very realistic! My son got a sonics’ shadow the hedgehog cake for his birthday! And loved it!
However, none of the kids really cared for the tase of the cake. Everyone just about didn’t finish the cake(even the adults). This is a little upsetting considering the price.
Still the cake was very cool looking. The service could have been better.
I specifically told them what my son wanted and what color this character is. After they reviewed their own pictures on google , they decided to go with their own color instead of the I specifically selected..
This resulted in the cake being hard because they had to go back over their color with a darker color because they chose to ignore the customer’s specific request. ♀️
The location is very crowded so there was people who walked in and got close with the cake, breathing all over it lol ♀

The best sweets and AMAZING customer service!! Any of the cheesecakes are to die for they’re so good!! This was my daughters 3rd birthday cake (she’s 5 now) I’ve been coming here since before I had her in 2019 this place has been nothing but the ABSOLUTE BEST always!!

Love getting My birthday cakes here. I tried cake from here three years ago and I’m now obsessed. Every year I want a cake from here. The taste is very unique, always decorated beautifully. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. I’m in Tampa and the drive is worth it. Highly recommend!

We used Gourmet Goodies for our wedding cake; 12.1.24. Finding the right bakery was important to us because other members of the family have had bad experiences with their wedding cakes from other places. We did a cake tasting with the owner earlier in the year which was super helpful to decide exactly what we wanted. She was very informative and helped us work out the details without pushing anything on us. Day of: the cake was delivered on time to the venue. It looked absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Of course it tasted SO good. Our guests loved it and we received so many compliments. Highly recommend this shop for your special day!
