We had a great time when we stopped in the service is wonderful here. The workers are so friendly and helpful and patient. They have lots of options of different Hawaiian desserts to choose from and flavors. The dough on the donut is perfection. I prefer the plain ones. And the kids love the fruity options.

This is an amazing donut shop. You know they had “fresh in mind” when they had the thought of opening this sweet shop. My fave would be the lemon filled and the strawberry with cream. Yall…. they keep their donuts warm so its still so FRESH. I wanted a cookie but they had sold out by the time I got there.. my silly self slept in..that was all on me. This was just such a treat!!!!!! And I love your surf words decorated. ❤️

Great place. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. They have a variety of Malasadas, Island Sodas and even Poke. I ended up getting the assorted dozen in lemon, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, raspberries & cream and last but not least coconut & cream. My husband got the Whale Watcher and I got the Island Colada. Never tried any of these before but we will definitely be back for more.

I was excited to see there is a Malasada shop in Anchorage. The mini Malasadas are good. The dough is fluffy, nice sugar coating and not too much filling. The guava filling is okay, tasted a little like a premade package filling. I pre-ordered online the night before-that was the way to go. Order was ready to go at 7:45 this morning. It was a quick in and out. The inside doesn’t really appear to have seating. It seems more grab and go. Overall, seemed like a clean space.

This place is great! Donuts in Alaska sort of all taste the same, all effort gone into the toppings rather than the dough itself. DONT FORGET ABOUT THE DOUGH!
Thankfully, this place DELIVERS both the great dough, but a beautifully crafted custard if you so choose to have that filling.

Honestly wasn’t a fan of the dough of the malasadas. It was dense and a little gritty to my liking. I had them pick 5 flavors for the 10 piece mini box and I really only liked the blueberry filling. I did enjoy the cookies. Churro, chocolate chip, and cookie dough were great, the cheesecake one wasn’t good! I wouldn’t get the malasadas again for both taste and price but the cookies are worth it.

I give 4 stars for the “made to order freshness!” 2 stars for the taste/texture. My opinion, I didn’t taste “malasada.” It tasted more like a heavy breaded sugared donut. Granted; a malasada is a type of fried donut, light and “airy” in the middle, it actually melts in your mouth! Ono! that’s not what I had. Considering this is Alaska, it might be the closest that you’ll get! If you never had a “Leonard’s Malasada, ” if you’re not from Hawaii, or never been to Hawaii, you’ll enjoy, Wiki Wiki!

I placed a relatively large order for an event I had… after first making sure that the store would be open on that particular day…. all was well…but on the day of the event 40 minutes before the order was due to be delivered…they send me a message that unfortunately it was decided that the store would remain closed and my order was cancelled….
what am I going to do to get a little time before the event????
Not at all professional behavior….
Now that I know how inconsistent you are…..I will never rely on you again…

Visiting Anchorage for a few days and this place was not far from where we were staying and had high reviews on google so we thought we’d give it a try! Simple/straightforward pre-ordered (20 mini/5 flavours) the day before, easy convenient pu, brought back to our place and devoured. These are light and tasty, the filling is not overpowering. If we were staying longer, we’d definitely be ordering more. Until next time! Flavours we tried were: churro, pineapple whip, guava/cream cheese, mango/creme and strawberry/creme

This place was not busy when I went there on a Saturday aftnoon so your expierence may vary. But they were able to get to my order quick. The menu has a good variety of things. I think the only thing they could add is like some magnets with their menu so you could order from home haha.
