Went to this restaurant while we were staying in the Sumner Beach area. The staff was very friendly and wonderful. We ordered several items for takeaway. The items were packed very well. I recommend the lamb chops and the chicken korma. This is a very good spot for in Christchurch a very nice small beach town.

The starters were full of flavour, and the mains hit the same high standard: rich curries with real depth, perfectly cooked vegetables, and sauces with a clean, controlled heat. It’s clear the kitchen is consistent and confident.
Coriander remains one of Sumner’s most reliable and enjoyable dining options. Excellent value, consistently high quality, and well worth booking again. One of favourite places to dine before indulging in a luxury cinema experience at Silky Otter around the corner.

My family has bought food from this place for dinner numerous times, and we all really like the food. We order food from here every few weeks on a Friday, and we will continue to do so and come here again, as we like what we receive. Thank you for the great food you make, we all enjoy it.

Good food especially the mushrooms Curry. The eggplant curry a bit over salty to my liking. Did mentioned to the staff, but that always a good reason why is salty. The great mango lassi is one of the best I have had.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food at Coriander Summer is bursting with authentic flavors. The curries were perfectly spiced, and the naan was soft and buttery. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. This is easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend to anyone who loves delicious Indian cuisine!

Ordered a few dish as our Friday night takeaway dinner. The meat and sauce was yummy but the basmati rice was hard and tasteless even after heating. It’s almost like they used the cheapest basmati rice there is possible. Hands down, my worst experience of basmati rice.

Just had a takeaway and sat down at home to have dinner.
Absolutely shocking food, chicken tikka massala, just chicken in a heated up sauce, never seen a marinade or grill, more like boiled , chicken byriani bland and over cooked, naan that had barely seen the tandor.
All in the bin, shame on you for serving this crap
