As a community organizer I chose this small business for our business meeting last week.
I had the most amazing bar tender Stephanie, she kept our table clean and well served.
I highly recommend their coffee with Irish cream. It was a three hour meeting and the 1916 staff was very helpful,friendly and very careful not to disrupt the conversations or meetings.
The inside is very clean and the food was great.
Some of our attendees order wings and sandwiches they looked amazing and scrumptious.
Everyone was very pleased with our venue.
Stephanie was the best feature as an amazing waitress to all of us.

After a horrible experience at VooDoo Brewing we found ourselves here for the first time. This place did not disappoint. The food was good and the beer was ice cold, literally ice on the glass. The waitress and manager were extremely attentive and came by multiple times to check on us. Again, good food, drinks, and service really made for a nice evening out. Definitely recommend anyone to try this place out!

Megan was absolutely amazing. From the moment we sat down, her service was top-tier—friendly, attentive, and professional without ever feeling rushed. The drinks were perfectly crafted, well-balanced, and consistently excellent. She clearly knows her craft and gave great recommendations. We love our 1916 in Brandon. We have had nothing but great food and experiences since they opened. Joy, Rob, Stephanie, and the gang know us when we come in and take great care of us. As you can see from the photos, we’ve probably eaten our way through the menu a couple of times, and we say we’re members of the clean plate club because we consistently do so other than occasionally taking home some Pesto Parmesan fries, but we consider that a bonus. Speaking of those parm fries, we don’t know what culinary magic makes them so crispy delicious, and we don’t care. LOL! They also reheat beautifully.
We also love the fried pickles! If you love fried pickles these are like Baby Bear’s fried pickles! Not too thick, not too thin, and no matter how thick the batter is on any given day, they are crispy and not greasy. Honestly, everything fried there tastes light and clean, so somebody is managing the fry vat oil beautifully too. The Cobb Salad is nice, the flatbreads, soups, and all the “small plates”.
We enjoy the daily specials, especially build your own burger Monday, Taco Tuesday and Wing Wednesday. We feel like every plate they put in front of us is assembled with care. Again, there hasn’t been anything we didn’t enjoy. The only thing we think could be slightly improved food wise is the amount of meat on the Rueben.
I’m giving a 4 for atmosphere because it’s pretty dark and stark, and televisions basically are the decor. The majority of the seating is high top communal pub seating, which can be uncomfortable if you have short legs, and can occasionally be awkward depending on the size of your group.
Our family owned a restaurant for many years, and I would love to meet the chef and/or the person responsible for the training of the kitchen and bar staff because they must be gold! We have introduced many friends and family to this pub and even refer strangers we meet with confidence.
Tell them “The Happy Jackson’s” sent you. No guarantees, but maybe you’ll get some extra parm fries! LOL! If not, you’ll still get a great meal and friendly service.

Cool place on the inside, nice furnishings. The wings were pretty average and some of them were really small; but what made me give this place a 2 star was the service. I played several songs on their Touch Tunes, even though they’re more expensive here than at most places. As soon as they came on, the bartender started complaining that she didn’t like the music, and then turned them off halfway through. Hey, I like Sound Garden too; but I grew up in the 90’s, so I’m pretty much over them, but Puddle of Mud— really? Let me guess, you’re probably a Nickleback fan too, figures— get some taste youngin. Next time, perhaps you’ll let my 20 minutes worth of songs play, and perhaps I’ll stay longer and spend more money.

My husband and I have now been to all of the locations. Staff are consistently great, food is awesome quality. For those other neurodivergents- I present- the fork. 0/10. Had soup and a sandwich to avoid it.

Not really an Irish pub, but a friendly neighborhood bar. Food was fair, but the staff was friendly and nice. Traveling through for RV show not sure I’d recommend this place for the extra time to get there. But for the drinks and drink specials and the staff, it is a great hang out neighborhood bar.
