A Truly Disappointing Hardee’s Experience: Cold, Sloppy, and a Total Waste of a Wait
If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent trip to Hardee’s was a masterclass in how not to run a fast-food restaurant. I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss meal with extra gravy, which already felt like a risk, but I was hopeful. Hope was soon crushed.
After an agonizingly long wait—seriously, what’s “fast” about this food?—I finally got my order, only to discover the entire thing was utterly cold. I’m talking refrigerator-temperature cold. The Mushroom and Swiss sandwich was a sloppy mess, and the “extra” gravy I paid for was a solid, chilling disappointment, congealed and barely clinging to life.
To make matters worse, the side of fries wasn’t just cold; it was stone cold and tasted like they’d been fried hours ago and left under a weak heat lamp before being thrown into my bag. Cold, greasy, and completely inedible.
I waited for cold, lousy food. That’s the tragic summary of my visit. Save your money and your time. There’s no excuse for serving food this poor, especially after a ridiculous wait time. This location clearly needs a serious overhaul of its kitchen and its understanding of “hot food.”

For this Hardee’s being in a truck stop gas station I was very presently surprised with every aspect of the food quality and taste, cleanliness and the general atmosphere of the restaurant. If you are passing through don’t hesitate to get yourself some candied bacon deliciousness. Everyone was nice and things were clean and stocked.

10 30 at Night.. Bread was stale and something is wrong with their fryer because everytime I get fries or chicken here its got an overcooked taste to it and dark brown.

Cinnamon and Raisin Biscuits are THE BEST! Made fresh and hot. Friendly drive thru lady. Biscuits were just like I remember when they were called Rise n Shine Biscuits!

Ordered a BLT Chicken Sandwich with a large lemonade. The lemonade was fine, but the sandwich looked like an onion Swiss burger with the Swiss peeled off, but more than enough onions that have my car still smelling like onions. And the buns were way too sweet. I usually get way better service at Hardee’s than this.

Now I usually don’t bother to give a review to a fast food place but this is just laziness. So I get a super sausage that’s about 6-7 bucks that comes with a biscuit two sausage a egg and cheese. They tell me they have no biscuits and I switched that but this is just sad. Ones from online to show what it’s supposed to be.

It was quick in and out. And Indoor seating practically non existent (due to covid). Food ordered; Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders qty:5, Famous Star Lettuce wrapped and Original Angus Combo. Food seemed hot and fresh. Staff was friendly. May come again…
