Yummy brisket sandwich lunch! Each bite of brisket is tender & flavorful. The bark is perfection. Pecan pie – delicious. And the Big Red completes this meal. There are two picnic tables to enjoy your meal onsite with gorgeous mountain views and the river running by. This Texas girl will be back to enjoy a home tasting BBQ meal soon! We had a delicious dinner here tonight. I had the brisket sandwich with roasted corn. My companion had a grilled cheese with waffle fries. Service was efficient and friendly. Our food was delivered to us with a smile. So good and to eat it riverside was the best! Highly recommend!

We’re from California and wanted to stop to stretch our legs while waiting on our reservation for the national park. Smelled the smoke and decided to give it a try. We ordered brisket sandwiches and a slice of pecan pie. The meat was so tender. The food didn’t disappoint and the view was nice.

We stopped at the gift shop in the parking we saw the BBQ truck. It says Texas BBQ and we are from Texas so we had to try it after shopping! The lady at the food truck is very nice and even offered us samples of the brisket before we ordered. We got the brisket tacos. It comes with two big tacos and a side. The food was DELICIOUS! From a Texan I highly recommend River’s Edge BBQ! As a huge bonus there are picnic tables and chairs where you can sit to eat and watch the beautiful river flow by! It’s a win win!

We moved to CO from Texas one year ago, and we’d yet to find a place that did Texas smoked brisket justice. So when we saw this food truck and smelled the smoker we knew we had to try it. This isn’t just TX brisket done right, it’s some of the best we’ve ever had! Perfectly seasoned, nice crust, quality meat perfectly rendered, and nicely sliced. A dinner of sliced brisket sandwich and a big red, sitting by the river at 63° — perfection!

We found this awesome little gift shop in Estes Park, Colorado — super cute with a bunch of colorful flowers outside. Right next to it was River’s Edge Barbecue, and we found it totally by accident.
The girls there were super friendly and offered us a free sample, so we gave it a shot. WOW. Best brisket we’ve ever had. And we’re from Texas, so that’s saying a lot!
It was such a fun surprise — we weren’t even planning on eating there, but it turned out to be one of the best meals of the trip. We’re definitely coming back tomorrow before heading home.
This place needs to be known everywhere — not just in Estes Park, but all over the world. Amazing food. Great people. Don’t miss it!

Located on the edge of a steam. This bbq place is more of a picnic style venue. Bench tables next to the stream. Eat and enjoy the view of water rolling by. Brisket and pull pork are juicy and tender, and seasoned well without the saltiness. For sides, we ordered bbq baked beans, potatoes salad, and waffle fries. All the sides are good as well. At the time, there was only one person working, so be patience. Enjoy the outdoors while waiting for your food. Highly recommended for a summer luncheon.

By far the BEST. FOODTRUCK. EVER. – we got better service than any sit in restaurant would offer. We got to sit by the beautiful river in pretty nice chairs and the guy hosting us brought us everything we could’ve needed without us having to ask once. Come here, you won’t regret the Texan way of doing things right!

Our first time at Rivers Edge BBQ and it won’t be the last. We had the Pulled Pork sandwich and it was excellent. The pork was very moist. Also had the potato salad which was very good. The atmosphere was very relaxing as we sat at a picnic table along the Big Thompson River.
