Pretty disappointed today. I’ve been here few times and never had any issues but today I ordered ahead of time for a small pizza and go in to pick it up only to be told it was given away to somebody else. Very unprofessional to do this. I was on a time crunch and cannot wait around for a new one to be made. Maybe next time don’t give away a pizza people called ahead of time for.
Today will be my last day coming here.

WOW is all I can say. We thought going to pizza chef in New London was a great idea tonight, we wanted something quick easy and not ridiculously priced. We ordered our normal plus my husband added onion rings. An Italian sub and I wanted spaghetti and meatballs. I asked though if I could have the sauce and meatball on the side to much sauce doesn’t agree with me… husband goes to pick it up and its $50….usually we spend around $30 was expecting a little more obviously for onion rings. When my husband questioned it the owner basically said they dont do stuff on the side so it was a whole order of meatballs on the side…and then said what do you want me to do about it….took $5 out of the register and threw it at my husband while rolling eyes. This wouldn’t be a big deal if we hadn’t been ordering this exact thing except the onion rings all summer and never paid that much or had an issue with getting sauce and meatball on the side. The response of throwing the money back was shocking. Very disappointed. Lost customers but I’m sure they just dont care. And I just opened it and my spaghetti is loaded with sauce

A case study in incompetent management! This place used to be a New London mainstay, a recurring weekend favorite. In recent years, however, the new manager has adopted the inexplicable policy of closing a *pizzeria* in a *vacation town* on *Sundays* for the sole reason that he doesn’t want to work that day. I’m sorry, what? Talk about managerial malfeasance.
Separately, what they’ve done to the adjoining ice cream parlor is downright sad. The local-run shop that used to be there was the epitome of charming with an excellent product. Now they’ve cut every corner they can to maximize profit per scoop at the expense of the customer. Their new ice cream and topping products are of inferior quality and thinly scooped (think hollow shell, empty volume), they’ve stripped the shop of all decorating charm, and, most offensively, they won’t let you split a “single scoop” between two flavors — the up-charging trademark of a rip-off racket uninterested in satisfying its customers.

Bright, cheery place to stop for lunch. The town was a lovely diversion from the highway, and our group of 5 tried salads, subs, and a Syrian. We all left feeling very happy. Satisfying, but not absurdly large portions.

Best pizza around. Greek pizza places are my favorite, and this place is top notch.

I love getting their Italian subs. I moved back to Massachusetts, so had not had them in awhile. It was better than they used to be. They were great before. Everything was so fresh. Awesome sub! I drove out of my way to go to the New London one. Best subs there!

They have their own french bread pizza and it is SO yummy. It was toasted perfectly, there wasn’t too much sauce to make it mushy and the last time I got it, the mushrooms and onions were cooked perfectly.

Delicious Italian sub! Employees were super friendly. It was a bit of a wait, yet no complaints here. Ice cream sold next door.

Don’t get their icecream. It’s advertised as Giffords, but they actually sell Hersheys Icecream. Horrible quality. Tastes like whipped oil and milk from the wrong gender cow. Wish they had told me it was Hersheys before I spent 7 dollars on a single scoop of icecream. Wish they’d refund me.
