I NEVER do bad reviews but this HAD to be done. I went at 5:30pm on a Wednesday and it must have been “Curry Night”. (The menu was handwritten) Curry shrimp, goat and chicken, Oxtails, some kind of “brown stew” and egg rolls 2 for $10. No plantains, but I digress. I ordered 2 curry goat dinners and 2 egg rolls. Not by choice but they were “out of oxtails for the night. The curry goat was dryer than my great-grandmothers’ coochie ! The “dinner” was 1 spoon of meat on top of browned rice w/peas and a spoon of cabbage w/3 carrot slithers in it. NOTHING WAS SEASONED…Nothing. The spoon of meat was chewy. I was there at least 45 minutes, so I thought it was going to be the bomb, someone should have let of a bomb to awaken the cook. Each dinner was $22, egg rolls $10….so for almost $60 (w/tax), it was ridiculous to pay for rice & cabbage. The egg rolls weren’t as bad, but not worth $5. I came home and had to open a can of stewed tomatoes AND season the “dinner “just to be nurished… I STILL could not eat it. I’m sorry but Jamerican Jerk ARE exactly what the name says…. “JERKS” ♀️ I will not return, maybe you will have better luck on a different day.

I called my order in the lady was real nice when I got there! Food was pretty cheap $12.50 for the brown stew chicken & I asked for extra sauce .50cent no problem! The juices are $4!!! The food was hot and fresh!! The stew chicken was flavorful but not over powering ! Nothing to spicy or salty ! Just right, the cabbage was fine !! Go here if you arent trying to wait 2 hours for food ! Also the jamaican oxtail is $25 one size !! I was kind of sad she said they didn’t have oxtail gravy.

I ordered some curry goat lrg she charged me $20 and $20 for the jerk chicken. I was kind of upset, especially when I got home and the food was A little old because of the Colonels of rice that I tasted, I guess been sitting out I wasn’t pleased too pricey for my taste for that quality of food

What’s the point of calling in an order if when you get there it’s still not ready? I called my order in at 5pm on purpose I pull up a hour & a half later & the food is still not ready. The food is great but this is why I barely come here it’s ridiculous.

Overall this place was terrible! Terrible food terrible service and they were so unprofessional especially the guy making the food it was about 3 years ago so hopefully they stepped it up! I could say so much but again hopefully they’ve gotten better!

Ordered Jamaican jerk chicken with rice and beans. Price was reasonable. Portion was small compared to other places, but the price was low. Jerk sauce tasted like barbecue sauce with hot sauce in it-which wasn’t bad. Rice was okay, I think it had small bite size potatoes pieces in it. The cabbage was beige, and not flavorful. Overall, if labeled a spicy chicken meal-good. Not gonna mentioned customer service or atmosphere. From prior photos and reviews — looks like things have changed a lot. Probably won’t be back-I can make my own barbecue chicken dinner.

This was my first experience at Jamerican Jerk Center. I got shrimp in sauce (jerk), rice & peas, plantains & cabbage. I got a large. The food was very good. The portions were decent, probably except the cabbage. I absolutely love the rice and peas & plantains. I would definitely eat here again.

Save yourself the stress and avoid this restaurant at all costs!!! It took FOREVER, wasn’t hot, and wasn’t even prepared correctly. The large jerk chicken was literally two pieces of chicken. The curry shrimp was six pieces of shrimp. They also sent burnt plaintains. There’s NO WAY anyone in the restaurant industry would think this is acceptable to serve. (Picture attached.) Food wasn’t seasoned and pretty much inedible. RUN. DO NOT PASS GO. DO NOT COLLECT $200.
