Came here for brunch and the place looked nice and not too packed. It was our first time there so we didn’t know much about this place. I ordered the avocado toast because it looked fire and seemed popular. Then when we got served, it did not come with any egg? Idk if its supposed to be like that and its an add on?
My bf ordered his waffles since the photos on Google menu looked like it has some fruits like berries on it. But he was served with the most saddest waffles I have ever seen. Only syrup was given to us.
Overall, the toast wasn’t too bad. I love the sauce because it was flavorful but idk about that waffles….

We came to Beat the Grind for breakfast and got a coffee, specialty latte, and two breakfast sandwiches. Both the food and the service were amazing! I’m not sure if its because we are from Massachusetts but the hospitality surprised us in the best way. Would certainly come here again for any breakfast needs in AC!

What an incredible addition to Atlantic City! We thoroughly enjoyed our espresso, matcha lemonade, waffle breakfast sandwich and loaded avocado toast. The cafe itself is decorated nicely with a corner of books and games! Love that it is owned by a fellow Stockton University alum and is very close to the AC campus. Be sure to check it out when you’re in town!

Was on my way back to NY and wanted to sit down for a nice breakfast and first place we went to was crowded and had a long wait. We said let’s google another place and Beat the Daily Grind came up and we said ok let’s try it and let me say it was the best decision. We walked right in to friendly faces, and no wait. The food was delicious and fresh and coffee was on point. This place made my breakfast loving soul very happy. They had the music playing so that added the extra good vibe. We had a great time! Highly recommend.

The place is very chill, the food was right on the spot. The iced coffee is very good! The only thing is the prices are high but the atmosphere gives it that cozy touch and makes the experience worth while. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The music was poppin too!
Dont get discouraged on the bad reviews just go and try it out. Doesnt hurt to try new things we need to support our local businesses!
