I almost don’t want to write a review because I’m going to need a reservation to eat here after more people find out about this lovely place.
This is quite possibly some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. Pad Thai, seafood, tom kha, ginger garlic dish… we will be ordering frequently from now on.

Ate here for a light lunch while waiting for my son to get his hair loced. Omg so glad I came! The cucumber salad , spring rolls , & crab rangoons were fresh and amazing!!
Everything was so good and the restaurant immaculately clean. I even got crab rangoons to go and almond cookies. Definitely check them out and you’ll feel as if you’re in Thailand . The ice tea was refreshing indeed!

The green curry chicken w/coconut milk. Great flavor. Chicken was tender. It came with like a simple tofu chicken bra soup it was okay. A little bland. I also ordered the chicken satay. The salad that came with it was really fresh and crisp and that nice flavor. Peanut sauce tastes really good that chicken had good flavor but it was a little dry and tough. The owners are still there they’ve been friendly for the last 12 years I’ve been going maybe more.

We really enjoy Chai Yo! It’s BYOB, which is nice, so we brought a bottle of wine and they had glasses and a chiller. We ordered an app platter that had crab rangoons, which were so good that we ordered another crab rangoon. Lightly crispy, filled with cream cheese and crab, and a touch of scallion. So tasty. We all got different things, including red curry with chicken (yummy), beef pho, sweet and sour chicken (it was okay), pad Thai, and another noodle dish that is escaping me. Everything was tasty and we took home some leftovers which were super yummy the next day. Recommend for sure compared to some other Thai places near here!!

Service was fast and kind. Food is reasonably priced and delicious. Portions are fair as are the prices. This place is competing for the top crab Rangoon I’ve ever had. I am looking forward to returning.

The food was delicious but the service was lacking. When we walked in, the worker said to us “anywhere” meaning we could seat ourselves. Anytime we asked him for anything like plates, he was very dismissive, as if we were bothering him. When we asked for a bag to take our boxes of leftovers, he told us they had no bags, despite the fact that we watched him bag up several to-go orders. It’s too bad because we very much enjoyed the food. I definitely recommend the egg rolls, pad see ewe, and the curry dishes. Also, it wasn’t easy to get into the few parking spots on the side of the building.

When I entered it was hard to get anyone’s attention to order. I did take out of two dishes and Thai tea costing around $40, I found out I was charged $90 and I can’t get my refund because I don’t have a receipt but I was never given one. Becareful ordering here and always request a receipt for fraud.

After searching for authentic Thai food after moving to the suburbs from the city, my family tried Chai Yo tonight and were so impressed. The food was delicious! We had green curry, panang curry, pad see ew, Basil with ground chicken, and a few apps and everything was great. The portions were generous as well and we know we will be back soon for our Thai food fix.
