Was getting some glasses at Stanton Optical and saw it, came in and wasn’t disappointed. I was met with a smile and great service. Ended up ordering the device which was really good and got more than what I paid for. Enjoyed everything about this restaurant

We had breakfast here one Saturday. It was not packed, which is weird because the food was good and moderately priced. I had the Huevos Rancheros, and surprisingly it came with your choice of chilaquiles or chicharron. I opted for the chicharron, and it was a good choice. The hashbrowns were just cut up shoestring french fries and could’ve been cooked a little bit longer, but they were seasoned well. We even got arroz con leche before the meal. The Menudo was just a tad undercooked, I can see how some people might have trouble chewing it, but not this big dog. Overall, it was a good experience. I would definitely come back and try some of their dinner options.

I’m totally disgusted as I am reviewing my recent order!! So we ordered two of the large menudos. Normally I share one with my dad and my husband eats the other one. When we got our order, we poured them into a pot to heat them up. They were both almost all liquid!! We scooped into bowls and only the small ones were filled. My husband didn’t have any for his large bowl. I gave up my portion and my husband and my dad started eating. I immediately started contacted DoorDash. While I was doing that, my husband mentioned that the menudo was bland. Then, a few moments later my dad tells me THERE WAS A HAIR in his menudo!! That stopped both my dad and husband from eating!! I totally did not eat because I was nauseous!! In the past, El Texano has been a hit or miss in their food, but we always went back. We like to support local, but with this, NEVER AGAIN!! This is the Zaragoza location. We haven’t had issues with the Pendale location. I was going to call the restaurant, but I’m still too disgusted!

We ordered a large menudo to go. There was hardly any menudo and was mainly broth. Taking out the broth, there was only like 1/8th of the container with the homeny and tripe.

When we walked to the front desk, the waiter was very helpful and provided great service. We sat down, and our food was here almost immediately. My flautas were very good, but when my daughter took a bite of her quesadilla, she said it was undercooked. I took a look at it, and sure enough there were some still cold pieces of cheese in it. Some parts were melted, some weren’t. My daughter loves any types of cheese, but a quesadilla should be melted on the inside. Same for the tortilla, it was as cold as Elsa. It was also very flimsy and looked like it was just thrown together and called it a day. We were in a hurry, so we didn’t have time to go and address the situation.

Our first visit to Las Palmas was great! Our servier, Aenias so welcoming, kind and attentive. The food didn’t take long to come out, and it was delicious. I tried the small Caldo De Res, portion size was perfect! My husband had the Jumbo Shrimp Plate, which he really enjoyed. We’ll be seeing you again, Las Palmas!

Service was excellent! Emoladas were a bit too thick in the sauce. A bit pasty for my taste, but still authentic. Great Tortilla soup to begin the meal. Overall, we will be back.

Amazing people and Amazing Food Let me Tell You Great Atmosphere. EVERYTHING WAS MADE HOMEMADE. The Only Thing They don’t have sweet tea. Just unsweetened. That’s OK.
