Very unique hidden gem. This place has an awesome view of the river while enjoying a great meal. Our waitress was very friendly and tentive. you could tell she enjoyed her job. Loved the whole rustic look and inviting long front porch. Can’t say enough about this place. In a nutshell if your close by it’s a must stop.

Very clean, friendly environment. Food was good and well prepared. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. I did ask for my ribeye to be cooked medium and it was a little more done but still very tender so I could deal.

Let me start by saying the service is very good. But service is only a part of the dining experience. The restaurant is clean with a nice view of the river. However the food is bland. It has no flavor to speak of. My wife had steak and I had seafood. It came with catfish which I was unable to eat. It had the flavor of mud cat. My wife asked me to try her steak. It had no seasoning and was dry. The lady sitting next to me was looking for salt to improve the flavor of her green beans. Had it not been for the service and the cleanliness I would have given a 1 star rating.

Great location on the Warrior River. The place is pretty neat on the inside with large windows looking out to the river. Service was quick and courteous. Food is typical “country fare” – meat and three type stuff – pretty decent. Prices were very reasonable. We had a group of 6 and everyone was pleased with their entree.

My original review is below, from over a year ago. I would no longer recommend. We have tried to eat there several times in the past year and have either had to get up and beg for a server, or finally just leave without being served. The food is good but not worth it.
Great hidden restaurant. I haven’t ever eaten anything there that wasn’t fantastic, but the steaks are absolutely awesome.
