The first thing I noticed was how incredibly clean this restaurant was. The staff was very friendly. The food was stellar! Chicken tacos (the chicken was roasted, very moist) Carne asada tacos (meat was medium, great).
I believe they make the tortillas in-house.
Honestly, they’re the best tacos I’ve ever had!
Sweet fried plantains were amazing! Idk what the dip was that came with them, but it was so good!
Not sure of the name (Big round thingys with delicious stuff inside. )Again, it’s delicious.
Churros: great! Fresh! Hot!

If you’re in the area do yourself a favor and stop in!

Haven’t eaten here in a very long time. A dear friend loves pupusas and I thought I know just the place! The staff were lovely, greeting upon arrival. Restaurant is clean (the smell was a little overwhelming). We had chips and pico de Gallo that was so fresh! We each ordered entrees, chicken and steak fajitas and steak with shrimp scampi and of course pupusas (refried beans & cheese) that came with a slaw and sauce. I love how Latin cuisine comes with a scattering of French fries! The food was as fabulous as I remembered. I did look for this wonderful appetizer that they had called a Peruvian tostada. Not available any longer but everything was wonderful!

If you’re looking for pupusas in Albany, NY there aren’t many options. But they have them here and they are good. They have so many other menu options. Today I decided on the steak quesadilla which comes with two sides for $14. They have large portions so don’t worry about leaving here disappointed. The prices are reasonable and there are all sorts of beverage options. The staff members are very friendly. It does have a family feel and the best way to describe the dining area is cozy. There is a jukebox and a large screen TV for watching soccer matches. They do serve beer.

Stopped in for a quick dinner. The music was so loud we decided to get takeout. It was somebody’s birthday at the bar they so were all drinking shots of tequila, including the staff. Our waitress had 3 shots while we waited. The menu said tacos were $4 each, so I ordered one chicken, one carne asada, rice and beans separately. They brought out two taco dinners with 3 tacos each, $12 each or $24 instead of $8. Between the tequila and language issues, they didn’t understand that the menu says tacos are $4 with no mention that you had to order 3 on a plate. Says that nowhere. Finally left with one order of chicken tacos. Doubt I will return!

OmG I haven’t had authentic Spanish food since I moved to Schenectady! This place is my new favorite! The food was absolutely delicious! Sooo fresh and perfectly seasoned! Everything was cooked to perfection! Not to mention the huge portions! Filled up on just half of my meal! Everyone that works there is so sweet and welcoming! Delicious food, top notch service, and reasonable prices! Who could ask for more! Definitely my new go to!

The best chicken and yellow rice around, the maduros are also quite delicious too. We discovered by chance and now we frequently dine here or get it to go

I have been coming to Flores for years the food has always been good as well as the service… last couple times I’ve ordered it’s been so difficult to communicate with the staff because nobody speaks English. I ordered tonight and got really stale flavorless plantains so I call back and tell them I was under the impression they were making me a fresh order. I arrive at Flores for the 2nd time and the cook comes out and translates on her phone that delivery company delivered plantains that aren’t ripe I tried to convey to her that some of them are fine but the majority are nasty and I would like a fresh order. After going back and forth she finally agrees so I wait for her to come back which she did and I say this is a fresh batch? She says yes so I grab the bag frustrated and walk out when I get home and open the bag it’s filled with French fries !!! I again call back and demand a full refund nobody can understand what I’m saying and say they close in 3 mins!!! I’m so aggravated and disappointed this is what Flores has become. I understand some people have trouble speaking English but to have a whole establishment in the USA and not have one employee that speaks the native language is insane to me!! The attitude from the older female cook was disgusting just being so cheap and stingy about making a new order. If you own a sandwich shop and get delivered stale bread that doesn’t mean serve it to the customer anyways and let them pay the consequences and eat nasty food …NO you contact the vendor and explain the product is no good and work it out with them if they don’t reimburse you oh well sometimes you take a loss in business doesn’t mean you serve out mediocre food and try to recoup the money on the customers dime. And if you know your plantains aren’t ripe you should communicate that during the ordering process. On one note the waitress was the only one apologetic and understanding she was also very sweet but again speaks no English she had to have a customer translate to me.
