Hit or miss but always worth the try . They have some great soups, but you never know what they will be in advance. Phone orders are usually not correct, but often kinda close; and the staff is kinda rude during these . If you have a food allergy, it’s not a great place for you to eat because things vary wildly and you won’t be able to get the answers you need before you order . The new ketchup is gross. Portions are good .

The best restaurant breakfast I have ever had! The food was all high quality and “real” unlike some breakfast places. The portions were also HUGE! I ate the Paxton Skillet and the kiddos had pancakes with eggs, bacon and sausage! Definitely worth the drive! The place was also very clean and well kept for a small place! The waitresses were very friendly. Highly recommend!

The club, the soup, the salads, the kids meal! The entire family’s lunch was delicious and reasonably priced. Plus, we all had leftovers!

Wish I had seen the “best when hungover and hungry” review before we went in or left when the mold smell hit me……. Server came over to take our order, drop the food and then only came back to ask if we wanted boxes. I told her the food was disgusting. She took it away and brought our $20 check without uttering even an attempt at “sorry”. Won’t be returning. Couldn’t even get the gravy right. No seasoning and it sticks to your fork even when it is sideways! The biscuits were drowning in the slop!

On the way home from Chicago Airport and needed a place to eat. Let’s be fair here and note the facts: I’m tired, been on a long flight, emotional, and ready to be out of an u comfortable truck. With that being said, it shouldn’t take a phone call asking the person where the heck their restaurant is located. Google maps kept saying I had arrived and I just wasn’t seeing it. The diner lacks advertising on their building. Strike one! The server was very friendly and appeared to enjoy her work. I ordered spaghetti with chicken parmesan, salad, and garlic bread. The hubby got a cheeseburger ans fries, and my mom got a BLT with cole slaw. My husband said his food was delicious and it really did look appetizing. My mom’s sandwich was barley a BLT because it only had 1 strip of bacon folded in half in each side of the sandwich. That’s just cruel and unjust to do that to any sandwich! Lol. My spaghetti plate was enough to serve 3 people! The cook deep fried the chicken in too hot oil for sure. It was very crispy, almost to the burnt point. At the end of day, this is a very small town restaurant where everyone knows everyone and they come back because the service and food. They have a bar here too, along with some gambling games. For three meals the cost was under $35.

I had a terrible experience ordering from this establishment. The salad was unacceptable, containing eggshell on the boiled egg. The pasta was equally poor, tasting like a basic boxed product. Furthermore, the wait time was excessively long, and to top it all off, the price was way too high for the poor quality of food received. I cannot recommend this place.

Plenty of options, authentic Mexican offered along comfort food choices. Large breakfast menu, flavored coffee creamer offered. Service depends on server. Mostly good experiences by far.

My experience here on Saturday evening was disappointing. I attempted to call ahead using the number listed on Google, but it was not functioning. Upon arriving after a short walk from Hudz, I placed a takeout order, and waited for over 45 minutes for two salads and a pasta dish. While I understand that unexpected delays can occur in the hospitality industry, the restaurant was relatively empty, with only one table of four also waiting for their food. This extended wait, coupled with the perceived mismatch between the food quality and its price, was concerning. Furthermore, I was surprised that no gesture of goodwill was offered to acknowledge the significant delay. Given these issues, I cannot recommend this restaurant in its current state.
Recommendations for Improvement:
Verify and Update Contact Information:
Please ensure the phone number listed on Google and other online platforms is accurate and operational. Customers should be able to reach the restaurant for inquiries and orders.
* Optimize Order Fulfillment and Service Speed:
Investigate and address the root causes of the extended wait times. Even with a low volume of customers, a 45-minute wait for takeout is unacceptable. Consider streamlining kitchen processes, increasing staffing during peak hours (even if perceived to be slow), or implementing a better order management system.
* Re-evaluate Pricing and Food Quality:
Conduct a thorough review of the menu pricing in relation to the quality of the food being served. Ensure that the price point aligns with customer expectations and the value received. Consider gathering customer feedback on specific dishes to identify areas for improvement.
* Implement Hospitality Standards for Service Recovery:
Train staff to recognize and address customer dissatisfaction promptly. When significant delays occur, offer a sincere apology and consider a gesture of goodwill, such as a complimentary item or a discount on a future order. This demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction and can mitigate negative experiences.
* Monitor and Address Online Presence:
Actively monitor online reviews and feedback to identify recurring issues. Respond to customer concerns in a professional and timely manner, demonstrating a willingness to improve.

Best of luck.
