FAÐED ON DA BEAT
Went through the drive thru and ordered two chocolate blizzards with cookie dough and a small cone with chocolate ice cream. As I was ordering the small cone ice cream, the girl who took my order kept saying “cup” when I specifically said cone. I repeated myself three times and she continued to say cup. As i was getting my order, she gives me two blizzards and chocolate ice cream in a cup. I told them i wanted it in a cone, So they made it again and gave me what i asked for.

As I was driving home I realized the blizzards weren’t chocolate, instead they were vanilla. I drove back, told them I ordered them with chocolate ice cream. They claimed that i said blizzards with cookie dough and didn’t specify what kind of ice cream. Very disappointed, If i could give this 0 stars I would.

I ordered a vanilla cone with sprinkles, the kid confirmed my order through the speaker. When I got to the drive thru window, I was handed a vanilla cone without sprinkles. I said, “Oh, that is supposed to have sprinkles, though.” He returned to the window after adding them, with the manager, and said, “You have to tell us before paying that you want sprinkles.” I said that I did and that he had repeated the order back to me and it was correct, he just forgot to add them. The manager said, well you didn’t pay for them, and said again that they needed to be ordered prior to paying. I again told him,I did and the kid had repeated the order back to me and had included the sprinkles. It was not my fault that he didn’t put it into their system. The manager then said, “Well,we didn’t hear you and your getting free sprinkles, our loss your gain.” I said, “He REPEATED the order back to me… he heard me.”

I wasn’t planning to leave a review, but after reading the reviews left here over the last several months, it appears many others have had very similar experiences. We go to this DQ about once a week, maybe 3x a month, but this really turned me off. Not only did they act as though I don’t know how to properly place an order for a cone, the managers,”Our loss your gain” made me feel like he thought I was trying to pull a fast one on them over fifty cents worth of some sprinkles. Maybe he will learn what excellent customer service entails, which in this case would have been to just add the sprinkles to the cone and move on. There are other choices for sweet treats in town, and next time we will likely head elsewhere.

My daughter went and picked us up ice cream. She placed an order for me requesting chocolate ice cream because I am allergic to vanilla. When they handed her a blizzard with vanilla ice cream, she corrected them and said she had asked for chocolate. Instead of apologizing for her mistake the girl at the counter took the ice cream back added chocolate syrup, mixed it and gave it back to my daughter. Needless to say when she brought it home it was obvious that it was vanilla ice cream. Good customer service goes a long way and dairy queen in woodstock did not show any.

Honestly so disappointed in this dq.. last week I ordered a raspberry Mr, freeze and the chunks of ice in my drink were so thick I was chewing my drink.. I didn’t even want it anymore and threw it away. I thought maybe they were in a rush and didn’t blend it good enough since they were packed… so tonight I decided to grab another one my boyfriend even made sure to ask them to blend all the ice properly… surely they did not do that and I’m at home chewing my drink again. If I wanted a cup of ice to chew on I would of just asked for it.. you can clearly see the chunks of ice in my picture.. I ordered this drink all of 2024 and it was because how creamy the drink was it was so good but sadly I won’t be ordering it no more because I don’t have money to waste for it not to be the way it should be made.

Girl at the drive thru window did not have good customer service. I told her my twist cone was supposed to be dipped in chocolate and she rolled her eyes while saying she verified my order and she couldn’t remake it. Mind you a twist cone dipped in chocolate is just ice cream dipped in chocolate. I was not asking for a new cone or ice cream just to have my cone dipped in chocolate like I originally asked and I would have offered to pay if it wasn’t charged the way I wanted it but the girl was very rude about it. Moral of the story bad customer service.

Their blizzard prices are too much. You can get 9 original chicken sandwiches at Burger King on their Trio menu for almost the same price as three medium blizzards. That’s not right!!!! I know neither one are good for you but at least you’re getting lettuce with the chicken!!! I know there’s labor involved with making the blizzards but the chicken sandwiches don’t make themselves either!!!! Not to mention the medium size cup is now a small size Cup in comparison to when I was a kid!!!!!

The two ladies who always seem to be there when I visit, are cheerful and kind and go the extra mile! I enjoy seeing them. Ice Cream is much better than when I quit buying Dairy Queen, 5 (?) years ago.

I don’t live close to this DQ, but go for nostalgia purposes since we would go as a family when I was younger. I went today because of the new 85 cent blizzard deal and we were met with a very rude teenage worker. I usually give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but he was so rude to everyone in my group that it really frustrated me. He was very clearly talking about us when he was making our blizzards with another teenage worker and didn’t realize he didn’t close the window to block his voice. While I appreciated the deal, it was disappointing customer service. Plus the kid didn’t turn the blizzards upside down even though there’s a sign right in front that says “served upside or the next one is free”. Guess the owner/manager doesn’t care if everyone gets their next blizzard for free.

Basing my opinion off many visits this season, I love this DQ! Everyone is so friendly, never had anything come out wrong, and they are always so great with my dog too! They have ice cream cups with little milk bones on top for the pups for 75 cents and it is the cutest thing ever. Well done, new owners! ❤

We ordered a cake for our grandson’s 16th birthday/ got his drivers license celebration. The young lady who took my order was very kind and efficient. She understood what I needed, and with a delightful sense of humor, helped me decide on flavors and decorations. The cake was great, and our grandson loved it!
