Food was never delivered. Waited over an hour before calling. Called multiple times before being finally told I’d be given a refund but no time window was given so I’m doubting that. I waited two hours for the app to say that the pizza was delivered but when I got ahold of the “manager” he said that the driver tried to contact me despite calling an 8 year old number no longer associated with the app and that I haven’t been contacted through in almost a decade but was apparently on file. Never got my pizza. Waiting on refund or some sense of human decency.

I had a great experience at this location today. I came in with an odd request for the delicious Papa John’s Italian seasoning and peppercinis. Although unusual, a wonderful young man with curly strawberry hair pulled back in a ponytail made it happen for me. He went above and beyond and I’m grateful for the amazing service he provided me. I hope the store knows who this employee is and can tell him how much I appreciated him going above and beyond for me.

Ordered pizza and gave a 30% tip, driver came to the wrong address, talking about some dormatory? he started saying the wrong meal, then 10 min later cane to the wrong side of the building, then tried to say they can’t deliver to apartments, even though they did it twice that week. Then he forgot both my drinks. The pizza was also missing a slice, whether it was cut badly or eaten by the driver, I don’t know. You could very clearly see where it was pulled. I called them was on hold for 20 minutes, so I decided: Screw it, I’ll just drive there. As I stared there at the two drinks I needed, another half hour passes by to get their attention. she looked extremely busy as she stood there doing absolutely nothing, it immediately hit me why she wasn’t able to use the phone. while everyone else was making the orders, and running back-and-forth to the car for delivery, she was the captain of the ship. Standing there proudly, an anchor for all of them.
At this point, I stopped being pensive and overly nice and I tried to be more firm about explaining the simple thing I needed. I wasn’t asking for a refund for the delivery fee or the $20 tip. A driver walked by me and started venting to me about how bad the woman was, she’s clearly disliked even at her own store. I work 40 hours a week in retail too, I live in the same city you do and I pay the same rent! You’re not any different dude.
She of course, finally said she would redo the pizza and it would take five minutes, and I’ve been standing here for another 20.
I don’t know if the store will reply, I don’t know if they’ll lie. I obviously can’t respond back if they say something.it’s obviously a low rated place nearby VCU and very stressed. And I will probably forget this by the morning, but it’s kind of frustrating.
obviously, I’m gonna hit up customer service for a refund.

I ordered from this location multiple times because of convenience only. The chicken wings have a good taste but even with picking well done, the skin was gummy. I had to retoast myself. Additionally, the papadias had enough meat in it for a toddler.

I ordered a singular cheese pizza at 7:28 pm on a Tuesday, estimated delivery time was 8:04, great! However, I didn’t receive it until 9 pm. When it arrived it was cold. Please try and be more accurate on delivery times and if you “don’t have enough drivers” (like I was told on the phone) then don’t have a delivery option available.

I ordered my pizza online 30 minutes before arriving at this location after driving over 5 hours from New Jersey. I was hungry and tired, but when I arrived, the employee (a Black woman at the counter) told me my order was already picked up. Then she yelled at me and said I had to be patient. I wasn’t being rude, just hungry and confused. I was shocked by the attitude and lack of professionalism. I’m very disappointed. This is not how you treat customers. Never had an experience like this at any Papa John’s.

Ordered from here via Uber Eats and got the bogo cheese pizza with extra cheese. Not only was there barely cheese on there (definitely not extra cheese) but the pizza was literally tough, like it was sitting out all day. i love pizza, so it says a lot that i’m even taking the time to post this.

Tgis location wasnt like this during my last visit. It has been about a year. I didnt understand why the reviews were so low until I had my own experience. I ordered 10 pizzas and they were all warm. I was so disappointed with the quality of the pizzas. This location has declined tremendously, and based on the reviews, im not the only complaint. I hope someone changes the service.
