We tried Carnegie’s tonight for the first time since they reopened (a week ago), and I can’t say enough great things. It far exceeded our expectations. The decor and ambiance was excellent. They did a really nice job with it. Upscale and classy, but not too crazy by any means. The servers and staff were SO lovely and professional. The service was QUICK. Almost too quick. I would’ve been more than happy savoring each dish a little longer (but not a complaint haha).
Now to the food. The food was next level. Literally nothing in Greenfield even comes close to the quality and diversity on this menu. We tried the stuffed chicken, the waygu burger, and the steak wrapped asparagus for dinner. Literally incredible. Could not fault. The only thing I might add to the burger was a tomato and lettuce but that’s just my personal preference. We also somehow felt like we had room and had to try the desserts even though we were completely full. The crème brûlée was insane. Delightful, literally.
Couldn’t be happier to have this place in our hometown. What a gem. Great work, Carnegie’s! We are stoked you’re here.
From the moment you walk into Carnegie’s Restaurant, you know you’re in for something special. This place strikes the perfect balance between warm, inviting comfort and elevated American cuisine — the kind of spot you’re already planning your next visit to before you even finish your first plate.
The menu is thoughtfully curated, with something for everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for perfectly cooked seafood, a hearty steak, or a beautifully balanced seasonal entrée, each dish feels both comforting and refined. Standouts like the crab-stuffed shrimp and fresh salads are packed with flavor, and every plate shows real attention to detail.
What truly sets Carnegie’s apart is the people. Cody Sammons and the team clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows in every part of the experience. The service is friendly, attentive, and genuine — the kind that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The atmosphere is relaxed yet polished, perfect for date nights, family dinners, or celebrating something special.
On top of that, the value here is outstanding. High-quality ingredients, generous portions, and consistently excellent service make Carnegie’s a place locals keep coming back to — and for good reason.
If you’re anywhere near Greenfield and haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check out Carnegie’s. Amazing food, great people, and a place that just gets it. ️
Carnegie’s is much more of an experience. We had fantastic shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were very meaty, and the sauce gave a healthy, but not overbearing, flavor of horseradish.
The beef medallions were great. They were cooked to perfection and radiated red wine flavors. The salmon was also a perfect medium and was quite enjoyable. The potatoes and green beans also tasted fresh and were quite good.
My only slight qualm was that we did not get presented the specials. I had heard another server explain them to a nearby table after our orders were already submitted, and I would have ordered the filet special. That being said, everything was still fantastic.
Megan was so detailed on her descriptions in the food and her recommendations and passionate, we got them all and loved them all. Especially the lamb strip. The shrimp and lobster carbonara was good, there just wasn’t much lobster in it. After we each had cocktails to start I was going to do a glass of red but Megan convinced me to go for a Brunello del Montalcino which was EXACTLY what my mom, husband and I were looking for and paired perfectly! I am so glad she recommended that one describing the notes and body of the wine.
I know my parents have a new favorite place and for us every time we come for the weekend. Despite being visibly busy our waitress never faltered on her service to us or it seemed any of her other tables. Thank you, Carnegie’s for an excellent experience!
