Literally fantastic. I cannot tell you how excited we were when we heard that the guy from Foxgardin had bought Carnegie’s. As a Greenfield local, we are stuck in a town of chain restaurants and fast food with maybe 1-2 decent locally owned places (Griggsbys, Wooden Bear). We are happy to travel for the good stuff, and Foxgardin in Fortville had become a fave of ours.

We tried Carnegie’s tonight for the first time since they reopened (a week ago), and I can’t say enough great things. It far exceeded our expectations. The decor and ambiance was excellent. They did a really nice job with it. Upscale and classy, but not too crazy by any means. The servers and staff were SO lovely and professional. The service was QUICK. Almost too quick. I would’ve been more than happy savoring each dish a little longer (but not a complaint haha).

Now to the food. The food was next level. Literally nothing in Greenfield even comes close to the quality and diversity on this menu. We tried the stuffed chicken, the waygu burger, and the steak wrapped asparagus for dinner. Literally incredible. Could not fault. The only thing I might add to the burger was a tomato and lettuce but that’s just my personal preference. We also somehow felt like we had room and had to try the desserts even though we were completely full. The crème brûlée was insane. Delightful, literally.

Couldn’t be happier to have this place in our hometown. What a gem. Great work, Carnegie’s! We are stoked you’re here.

First time at Carnegie’s in years and it did not disappoint. The new ownership has made some great updates to the menu and the venue. Everyone was amazing! The service was outstanding, the drinks were great and the food was incredible. I highly recommend saving room for the Pistachio Cheesecake! Tammy was the best!! She was so much fun and took such great care of us!! Well worth the 45 min drive.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Gem in Greenfield!

From the moment you walk into Carnegie’s Restaurant, you know you’re in for something special. This place strikes the perfect balance between warm, inviting comfort and elevated American cuisine — the kind of spot you’re already planning your next visit to before you even finish your first plate.

The menu is thoughtfully curated, with something for everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for perfectly cooked seafood, a hearty steak, or a beautifully balanced seasonal entrée, each dish feels both comforting and refined. Standouts like the crab-stuffed shrimp and fresh salads are packed with flavor, and every plate shows real attention to detail.

What truly sets Carnegie’s apart is the people. Cody Sammons and the team clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows in every part of the experience. The service is friendly, attentive, and genuine — the kind that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The atmosphere is relaxed yet polished, perfect for date nights, family dinners, or celebrating something special.

On top of that, the value here is outstanding. High-quality ingredients, generous portions, and consistently excellent service make Carnegie’s a place locals keep coming back to — and for good reason.

If you’re anywhere near Greenfield and haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check out Carnegie’s. Amazing food, great people, and a place that just gets it. ️

This has become our go-to restaurant without question. We’ve been three times and every visit has been outstanding—the salmon is perfectly cooked, the fillets are phenomenal, and the Wagyu burgers are unreal. The wine selection is the only one in town I truly enjoy, the Casamigos Blanco margaritas are a favorite, and the pistachio crust cheesecake is unforgettable. Add in an incredible staff, a wonderful owner, and the exact vibe we were looking for, and this place is a total standout.

I was familiar with the ownership group and their other establishments in the Indy area. Had heard great things about Carnegie’s and decided to drop in for lunch and a drink. Roasted red pepper soup and the Parmesan crusted tenderloin were fantastic! Foxy Old Fashion is my go to, but the other drinks were intriguing. Will definitely be back for more.

Carnegie’s is a great place to eat. This restaurant really elevates the Greenfield dining scene. The service is friendly and attentive. I had the Monk fish special last time in and it was one of the best fish dishes I have ever had. Just like Fox Gardin and Bonge’s Carnegie’s does not disappoint.

We decided to try Carnegie’s for Valentine’s Day. It is a beautiful restaurant offering a smaller intimate space and hinting at the building’s 115 year historical origination.
Carnegie’s is much more of an experience. We had fantastic shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were very meaty, and the sauce gave a healthy, but not overbearing, flavor of horseradish.
The beef medallions were great. They were cooked to perfection and radiated red wine flavors. The salmon was also a perfect medium and was quite enjoyable. The potatoes and green beans also tasted fresh and were quite good.
My only slight qualm was that we did not get presented the specials. I had heard another server explain them to a nearby table after our orders were already submitted, and I would have ordered the filet special. That being said, everything was still fantastic.

Carnegie’s provides a FANTASTIC fine dining experience! We came to celebrate our anniversary, and the service was immediately top notch. The staff, including our server Autum, who was amazing, made us feel so special, greeting us with anniversary wishes upon arrival. We loved the unique setting, the food was superb, and the attentive manager checking on every guest confirmed their commitment to quality. A true gem! We already can’t wait to return.

My husband and I visited my parents this weekend and took us out to Carnegie’s for lunch. We had a wonderful meal and even more wonderful service.

Megan was so detailed on her descriptions in the food and her recommendations and passionate, we got them all and loved them all. Especially the lamb strip. The shrimp and lobster carbonara was good, there just wasn’t much lobster in it. After we each had cocktails to start I was going to do a glass of red but Megan convinced me to go for a Brunello del Montalcino which was EXACTLY what my mom, husband and I were looking for and paired perfectly! I am so glad she recommended that one describing the notes and body of the wine.
I know my parents have a new favorite place and for us every time we come for the weekend. Despite being visibly busy our waitress never faltered on her service to us or it seemed any of her other tables. Thank you, Carnegie’s for an excellent experience!

We finally got to dine at Carnegie’s after living in Greenfield for almost a decade! My husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were greeted by several different staff members, all wishing us a happy anniversary as we arrived! The service was top notch – our server Autum was amazing and the manager went around to every table to check on guests. Not to mention, the food was FANTASTIC. If you’re looking for a fine dining experience in a unique setting, this is the place to go. We already can’t wait to go back!
