This is a fun place to hang out for an evening. Duck bowling is entertaining with friends. I’ve come here multiple times and enjoyed the burgers and beers. I had the fried pickles tonight and they were just ok. The Mac n cheese burger with honey pepper sauce added was amazing! Our service tonight was not good, but that hasn’t been my experience in past visits.

We really enjoy Backpocket in Johnston. During the week it is a quiet local lunch spot with fun for the family. They have delicious salads, fried hot honey chicken sandwiches, smash burgers, and really good pizza. We like to bring friends for a lunch date and play duckpin bowling and the quarter aracade. The staff is friendly and helpful, the vibe is modern and clean, and the food is worth going back for. Thank you!!

Deal was 4 bowlers get a bowl and 2 pizzas. Wouldn’t ring up because we had a party of 3. Pizza had good flavor but thick (Detroit style) with a lot of cheese. Sweet Potato fries were good. Manager was helpful but lacked service on patio. No silverware or napkins and had to keep going inside for service. Got unused napkins from abandoned table. Bowling was fun. Not very handicapped friendly for games.

A unique place that put food and fun together. This place is definitely a cheat day for eating. Pizza, mac and cheese, fish and chips, fried cheese curds, the list goes on. Food was ok. Prices were high. Pizza’s were tiny (4 pieces). A “deal” was 2 pizzas for $40.00. Service was ok. Man waited on us but he just acted like he wanted to be anywhere else. There was a few people who looked that same way- including either the manager or assistant manager ( I’m guessing – he was dressed a little nicer and had a tag that gave a title.) Place was really loud, I guess that’s to be expected. I have a marketing brain. I believe it’s a good concept but could be better. My husband and I both got a bit sick after being there. Maybe we just aren’t used to that much greasy type foods. We were in Iowa for a party there.

Retired Senior nurse inspector just a customer. Reported them to state yesterday due to serous health violation.the staff in the kitchen do not wear any headcovers . Saw it happened after I educated them . Had pulled a 5 inch hair out of my hamburger. This is a serious health violation due to hair and scalp particles falling in your food. Also they have a large garbage can near the door making it difficult for handicap accessible. Great strawberry cheesecake. Games look fun. Once it’s safe I’ll be back. Till they take this issue seriously I’d be cautious about eating there. Just want people to be safe.

What a fun place! You can definitely feel like a kid again with all the retro arcade games available! The main seating area is separate from the games so if you wanted to sit and chat with a group you are able to do so. They have some great outdoor seating out of the sun shortly after noon.
The food was pretty good. Only had the Pocket burger, but based on the taste I am looking forward to coming back and trying more! Also had the Murderhorn and it was delicious!

we are super sad because we loved this place but went last night and had Alysha as our server and she absolutely hated her job and hated being their which made it miserable for us. This place has gone down hill and it’s sad because johnston needs a brewery but they need to find happier people. She was upset when i asked a question about beer, (weird concept at a brewery ♀️,) and she didn’t know the answer so it was all’ my fault…….

My girlfriend and I went here for Valentine’s Day. The food was very good! Probably was one of the best chicken Caesar Salads I’ve ever had, if not thee best. Everything was priced well and the service was exceptional. Very impressed.

Pin and Pixel is so much fun! Classic arcade using quarters, the kids have fun playing and loading up the machines with coins and just having fun. No tickets or prizes to worry about. The food and drinks are great too, easy to walk in, open a tab, get a beer, and play for an hour.

We were there for a party. The apps were just OK. Took them a long time to get them out there, and they weren’t all out at the same time. We’re not sure the bar bill was accurate but no real good way to know that either. The arcade section is really good. Everyone had a good time playing and it seemed like everything was in working order.
