Found this place online and gave it a shot. This place is incredible. The nicest owner you could ever hope to meet and everything was so impeccably clean. We got the chana masala and the butter chicken and both were so incredibly perfect and the garlic naan was so soft with the best chew ever! We also had some mixed pickle which I was so happy was in there because it was very fresh and I’m used to the stuff out of a jar. We also were treated to some gulab jamun which finished off a perfect meal. We live in Fort Gratiot and travel down to Ann Arbor from time to time so this will be a spot that I cannot wait to visit again on the way. Thank you for the wonderful conversation also!

Dhaba Kitchen in Livonia was a pleasant surprise. Everything we tried had rich flavor and felt freshly made. The butter chicken was creamy and perfectly seasoned, and the curry had that deeper, slow-cooked taste you only get at legit Indian spots.
We also tried the fried cheese and the fried milk balls, and both were fire—crispy, flavorful, and way better than expected.
The staff was friendly, the portions were solid, and the menu has a lot more we want to try. We’re definitely coming back, especially with the new menu items on the way. If you’re in Livonia and craving Indian food, Dhaba Kitchen is worth the stop.

Went yesterday for the first time to order carry out for dinner. The owner was incredibly nice and personable, had a nice talk with him and it made me happy to support the business. Got home to eat and the food was absolutely incredible. I’ve had a lot of butter chicken, but this was by far the best I’ve ever had. Perfect spice level, and the garlic naan was delicious as well. Will be returning very often.

Good food. We did take out. Samosa chat and Shahi paneer came recommended; we agree! Their imli sweet chutney is also delicious. Give the place a definite try. Hope you enjoy it like we did.
