Absolutely delicious! This place is hands-down one of the best taco spots I’ve ever been to. The tortillas were perfectly fresh, the meat was juicy and full of flavor, and every bite tasted homemade with love. The salsa had just the right kick, and the portions were generous for the price.
The staff were friendly and welcoming — they made the whole experience feel warm and authentic. You can tell they care about their food and their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back again (probably sooner than I should ). Highly recommend to anyone who loves real tacos done right!

I came in expecting authentic Mexican food, but what I received—especially the enchiladas—was extremely disappointing and misleading. The enchiladas were not prepared in the traditional way at all. Authentic enchiladas require the tortilla to be dipped in the salsa and then flash-fried, which is a fundamental step. This process allows the tortilla to absorb the sauce, slightly crisp, and fully integrate the flavor before being filled and plated. Without this step, it simply is not an enchilada in the traditional sense.
Instead, what was served here felt like a lazy shortcut: plain tortillas with salsa just poured on top after the fact. There was no dipping, no flash-frying, and no real integration of flavors. The result was bland, soggy, and lacked the depth, texture, and richness that proper enchiladas are known for. It tasted rushed and careless, as if convenience mattered more than technique or authenticity.
What makes this especially frustrating is that this is not a minor variation or regional difference. Dipping the tortilla in salsa and flash-frying it is basic, traditional preparation, not an optional step. Skipping it strips the dish of its identity and turns it into something entirely different.
If a restaurant claims to serve authentic Mexican food, the preparation should reflect that. Unfortunately, this place misses the mark. Simply pouring sauce over a tortilla does not make an enchilada. I would not recommend the enchiladas here to anyone looking for real, traditional Mexican flavors.
Don’t get me started on the menudo…

Tamales are very dry and you can tell they’re not fresh.. they’re reheated.. bought 6 to try for first time,, never again buying.. yes they’re big but because of the masa, not because of the filling.. the masa looks like and feels like ground rice,, not the typical tamal texture..

My first time coming here..I was walking by and the smell made me come in. So I ordered the carne asada tacos with everything and let me tell the asada was sooo tender and flavorful…I really enjoyed them. not to mention the customer service was on point. They were so nice and friendly, .and they catered to my needs..I really appreciate that. i definitely wanna come back and try the burritos. They looked good too

the taste and quality really vary dependent on who is cooking. the quality seems to be degrading as they have doubled the prices in the last few years. I understand that costs have gone up nationally, so they have to charge more, but cutting corners isn’t something that I appreciate. They have been out of red sauce for over a week, so I’m very led to believe that they don’t make much of their food fresh daily anymore. The burrito I just ordered is extremely salty, which can often happen if you use frijoles that may have been cooked and reheated multiple times. I don’t really see any beans in my burrito, but they are there somewhere thru the overwhelming amount of rice. As I’ve had really great experiences in the past, I’m rating 3 stars even tho today’s experience was lower. The chicken Tinga quesadilla was very tasty and the Sopes were great. this restaurant used to have daily specials that often included daily Guisados (various Mexican stews) but they stopped that a long time ago. many items are often out of stock and not available for periods of time, so I recommend calling in your order so you don’t waste your time trying to find parking just to find that your favorite items aren’t available. Will update review if/when things get better or worse.

Tried the Carne asada quesadila. Tastes like they put 2 kinds of cheese. Only 5 and some change and this thing is loaded. I think they even make they’re own tortillas. Not much seating so be open to getting your food to go.

If you stop by you should try the quesadilla of chicharrón! It’s really really good! The place just need more tables and a better organization, but honestly the food is really good!

Food has a lot of flavor. Service was great.
The place is small. No parking lot. It’s tough to find parking in the neighborhood.

I used to go to this place on a regular. They were great. Since the pandemic the food quality has steadily declined to a point of near inedibility and the restaurant has a very run down, dirty, dated appearance not the mention that the prices have skyrocketed. I recently went and ordered food to go, for the last time. When I got home I had part of my order missing. I called the store and they said “Oh yeah the order is still sitting in the kitchen, not my fault.” And then hung up on me.
