Ordered “The Hawkeye” burger which was phenomenal. Did not get very many tater tots, but was still a filling meal. The service was not so great on the other hand, our server was very slow to bring anything and would often pass our table without a care in the world.. she took my drink to refill and never brought it back until we asked her to and we waited for about 10-15 minutes for the bill when she said she’d be right back. Maybe it was an off day?? Nonetheless, it was a great meal and I would recommend trying it!!

Excellent service for a Monday afternoon! Visiting town for other reasons and happened to stop in for a quick lunch of Tenderloins. Service was truly 5 stars, meal was excellent and the restaurant itself was cute and clean. Couldn’t ask for more! Would definitely return when I am in town!

Absolutely the BEST tenderloin I have ever had! Thick, juicy, crispy… Amazing!! Tots were great and you could tell that everyone was having a great time. The place was packed and I heard at least two other tables that traveled to come and try it. We drove about an hour and we will definitely be back!

First time eating there,since I live about 30 minutes away. I enjoyed the smaller cozy atmosphere. The cod was cooked perfectly and actually the best I have ever had. The waiter was enjoyable to deal with and checked on us regularly. I give the restaurant a A+

Ordered from there today. With several others and the fry’s were placed in another persons order ! And I could have got more fry’s at Mc Donald’s. Then paying 4 dollars for this. Picture included. NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Wont waste my money next time for sure. I’ll pay door dash for Mac Donald’s.

Sports bar atmosphere. We had seen the win best tenderloin in Iowa, so we came up to try it. We both believe it’s the best we’ve had. Plus, the sweet potatoes fries were great along with tomato feta soup. We will definitely come here again and refer to family and friends!

Service was very good. The tenderloin was very delicious. Onion rings were great. I am very picky about my tenderloin and onion rings. They did not disappoint. French fries were not what I like. I like the original french fries like back in the good old days.

Tenderloin was so so, not sure how it was rated top tenderloin in the state this year. To me the breading was like that found on van de kamp fish sticks. The service was real bad. The waitress seemed consumed with to-go orders so we were there MORE than twice as long as we should’ve been. Appeared other staff could’ve been helpful but instead had their hands on hips looking around to see what others were doing. Not a fan, prolly won’t go back.

We ate here twice. First time was a friday during lent so no meat. We started with the badger bites, which are cheese curds. They were ok but seemed light on the cheese and heavy on the breading. Then i had the fumblerooski which is an all plant based burger. First time ever having a plant based burger. It does not taste like a normal burger but with all the toppings and ketchup it tasted ok. Daughter got the fish strips. She said they were very good. The second time we went i got the pigskin which was a very good pulled pork sandwich. I also got onion rings and they were really good also. My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was also good. Two daughters got build a burgers and both really liked the burgers and they were very filling. They got tater tots which they really liked and french fries which were just ok as they were over cooked. As far as service that was disappointing. Our waitress would walk past our table and never stop to check in. We had to flag other waiter down to get drink refills. Had to ask for check. Now the place itself was pretty cool. One wall was pictures of all the current kids from that county playing sports at different colleges throughout the country. Some small colleges and some major D1 colleges. They also had pics of some of the more famouse athletes from the area. That was really cool. 2/23/25 Visited again. Service was better but restaurant about empty when we visited. My wife got the pigskin but on gluten free bun. It was very good tasting pulled pork though bbq had just a little kick. I got the big chef salad with breaded chicken. Had a good amount of breaded chicken. It was light on tomato and onion. The dressing was almost frozen. But still was good. Also got coleslaw. It had no taste at all.
