I’ve been a longtime customer, but since the new ownership took over, the portions have drastically shrunk. The rice container is shockingly small—barely a few bites—and the curry comes in what looks like a quarter-pint cup, but in the same pint container. Definitely not worth the price.
If you’re hungry, you’re better off walking down the street to one of the many other spots. I genuinely wonder how this place is getting positive reviews lately. Very disappointed.

I was at the VA in Minneapolis and stopped by Crystal Garden for dinner. Glad I did. The Pad Thai & Lo Mein dish I got was superb! Their cakes were uniquely delicious and not overly sweet like the ones you’d find at a typical store. The place has a nice and warm atmosphere and were veteran friendly as well. If you’re hungry and around the area, I highly recommend you stop by and give this little hidden gem a try!

Food was flavorless. The beef laab, was so dry and unflavored. Had to add my own seasoning to it. The Lao papaya style had no taste. Just tasted like the papaya with some plain sauce on top. The Kapon, is packaged weird as hell as if someone is eating right there and then like Hmong village or j4. They can spare some Tupperware or ziplog/clear bags to separate the Kapon noodles, broth and veggies but they put everything together. The cabbage was old as hell too and had block spots on it but was mixed in the Kapon broth and noodle. SMH. The egg rolls were poorly packaged and was already soggy because of the spill from the papaya sauce. Would not recommend eating here.

Great, delicious food overload! The Boat noodle was very good, the Kao piak was super flavorful and the fried rice was savory as can be. They are under new management, so things are still being adjusted like their menu. They still carry many of the popular old dishes that we loved and enjoyed but the new dishes added to the menu is worth the try and to die for. Tummy is full and happy! Overall, 10/10! Boat noodle was my favorite yum!

Everything was good, yet everything could have been spicier (the “medium spicy” would be considered “mild” at most other places).
The Green Curry could have been greener with basil and with a lot more curry.
(I ordered take-out medium spicy green curry, medium spicy pad se yew, and medium spicy fried rice).

Do you like cold food that taste like a block of salt? Then this is the place for you. Somehow, they make mall food court Chinese food look like a Michelin restaurant in comparison. Without a doubt, the worst lo mein I have ever had.

Love the foods here and boba tea! You should go get a try of the boat noodle, pad Thai and the fried rice. They are the top Asian dishes here! Love the cream cheese so yummy and fulfilling. Can’t wait until they fully dine in and they GRAND OPENING. You should get it a try!

This restaurant has reopened and the food is so good, you should try it! We went for lunch in late July and had sesame chicken (solid flavor, my daughter loved it), pad see ew (delicious, try it if you want something a little different than pad thai, I love the wide noodles), egg rolls (just ok), shrimp larb (amazing, you HAVE to try this, or any of the other larbs, fresh, great flavor, perfectly cooked shrimp), pad thai (exactly the way my husband likes it). We took some cake to go (yummy sponge cake, not overly sweet, topped with fresh fruit) and boba smoothies (the boba were a little too squishy). We’re going back for more tonight!
