I had the pleasure of trying the Mojarra Frita at La Costenita, and it was outstanding! The deep-fried fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, paired perfectly with a vibrant salad and seasoned rice. The sauces added a delightful depth of flavor. Do not recommend this place, Prices online are not the actual prices. Online the guacamole and chicharron is 8.99 which is why I got it but they charged me $25 for it and forgot to give it to me when i picked up my order and decided to call me when I was already home so that was $25 wasted. I also asked for chilaquiles de asada and they gave me chilaquiles de pollo. Very dissapointed WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE IN THE FUTURE.

DO NOT EAT HERE if you don’t want to be greeted by roaches. The server came and laugh and told the manager to come and get it, the manager proceeded to pick it up with a napkin – squish it in her hand over the table as if this was the norm. And I told her we shouldn’t have to pay. She said “We can’t just let you go without paying but I can put a discount on your bill”. The discount was $3.00, basically the cost of the water. I will not be eating here and I will spread the word.

May 4th. My husband and I were looking for elotes and this “restaurant” populated in a Google search. We know the area and quickly realized it was in the hotel there. Some hotel restaurants are good though, and we knew the hotel was opening under new management soon, so we decided to give it a try. First you have to find it tucked away on the other side of the lobby. Once you do, it’s just a small space with about 6 booths which were being used by hotel guests, some in PJs, who were using the microwaves. In the back of the space was a long table with a menu, a bell, and a sign to ring the bell for service. There was someone there who had already rung the bell, but no one came. So much for the “dining area” opening in the spring. I cannot tell you if the food was good because we never made it that far. We left and went to our favorite restaurant.

This place was a hit. When you first get there , it’s a little sketchy entering trough a hotel , and the owner let us know it was only take out,, he didn’t hesitate to serve us .. with the best service . It was delicious. Probably the best birria ramen I’ve ever tried. I highly recommend. My family was completely satisfied .
